short of recasting for a photo, Im not sure what they could do as both actors are pushing 50

Take old shots of them from around that age and 'shop them in.

This would be a really good commercial if the character who is "back" was actually a character who was once here and not a complete newbie. Don't you have to come and go before you can come back?

You are right. If she was a past character we knew and learned about then, but we don't know anything about her.

I thought the Stafford side of the shot looked older, from the '90s possibly. The ME shot, they had to have some stills from the Ally McBeal, Two or VR.5 days to use but didn't, apparently.
