Upon reading the article I doubt Cuba will be available - he's tied down to what is sure to be a tasteful approach to the O.J. case with Ryan Murphy for a while. But I'd still like to see Puma again sometime.

I thought it was interesting that we got to see Cookie in rural settings with Puma and Malcolm. Both settings were used to let us see a more innocent version of Cookie. The version from before she was with Lucious. We got to see her through the eyes of other men.

I see Lucious' version of a country home being the Playboy Mansion. Let's see if the show can get that as a location!

I never thought it that way, re: Cookie and Puma, but I see it. Bringing in some family for Cookie would also be good at establishing her rapport with people besides her ex-husband and her sons. I'm waiting for that one aunt (or mom?) who comes in and is the ONLY person who shuts her down constantly. Not because I need to see Cookie get shut down, but just to show where she got her drive and determination from.

MAN, imagine Millie Jackson as Cookie's smoky, boozy aunt who gives not a single sh!t about Lucious or his feelings and never lets him forget it.

I personally suspected Denzel might come on to play Frank - the dealer Cookie testified against. We'll see, I suppose, if that ever comes to fruition.

Taraji is pushing for them to explore Cookie's stint in prison next season and I hope they do. I want them to delve deeper into the characters histories with flashbacks. Maybe have Jada Pinkett or someone come on as an old cell mate trying to get some of the Empire Cookie cake. Explore Lucious, Vernon, and Bunky building the company and raising the boys without Cookie, Andre in college, etc.

The flashbacks were some of my favorite parts of this season not just for the insane hair and fashion but they gave us tons of character info in very short scenes. The scene of Andre hiding his father's gun completely changed the way I saw him.

Millie Jackson needs to be on this show, an appearance or two would be so fun. If anyone could play a character that could really read Lucious, it's Millie Jackson.

Another Season 2 request is for Jussie Smollett to stop shaving his head bald. He looks much better with hair!
