I know that scene between NuNoah[the sugary sweet and sappy Robert Adamson] and Officer Courtney was supposed to be hot, but it led me right into a nap that day. I rewound the DVR to the end and started back up.

Can't believe that the son of Nick and Sharon is so bland and boring, well Kevin Schmidt as Noah was the same as well, another disappointment, still want Courtney to be a member of Ian's cult

Hope Logan from B&B owns this thread at the present time. Never have I seen a gang of characters be so enthralled over a chick that has the personality of Play-Doh.

This has more to do with the writers than anything. I know they wanted to create a character who is a complete contrast to her "parents" and the succeed there. The addition of Wyatt has certainly allowed the writers to start letting Hope explore her adulthood, but whenever she's around Liam... It's kind of a no-win, if Hope was like Brooke/Deacon, no way that character would've lasted this long.

As far as current dull characters:

B&B:

Eric, Pam, Charlie, Donna (c'mon bring Justin back in her life!). Reprieve: Oliver, Maya, Carter because of the Ally storyline. Same for Thorne.

Y&R

Dylan, Avery, Courtney (she's a cop, LOL - would've never made it in my Academy), Devon, Neil, Kevin, Victoria, of course.

DAYS

Way too many to list. I'm just biding time until Kristen returns.

Thought of another - GH's Sarah Webber, in both incarnations. Though in fairness to Jennifer Sky, who originated the role in 1997, she was given next to nothing to do after a promising start (a romance with Nikolas, sisterly rivalry with Liz) before exiting the following year.

Wow, the story's that bad? (I haven't watched DAYS in years, and mainly watched it because it was my sister's soap.)

They're just boring. Will and Sonny have acted like an 80-year-old married couple for ages now. And now they actually are married with baby. Yawn.
