April 4, 201412 yr Member One might ask why Corday Productions and All Screens Media would launch an online soap network soon after the failure of Prospect Park Networks’ The Online Network. AMS founder Peter Heumiller says their venture will differ from Prospect’s due to the way they are creating their content. Whereas Prospect Park took existing shows in an attempt to rebrand them, Net Soaps is “creating content in a forward-thinking way that gives us a unique platform to connect with people in multiple ways.” Yes that's exactly what I was asking. Regardless, I wish them all the luck in the world.
April 4, 201412 yr Member I wonder which online soap will be the first to sell their show to this network.
April 4, 201412 yr Author Member I also wonder if the quality (look, etc) of these will be more like what's there already or a little bit better? If the business side is better here they might fare a bit better.
April 4, 201412 yr Member "Net Soaps/Net Novelas wants advertisers to be involved with the shows in more than just sponsorship roles, by including them in the casting process, among other things." Did the soap community learn ANYTHING from YEARS of network interference and focus groups? I bet if P&G were still in the game they would be all over this....
April 4, 201412 yr Member Well, I certainly hope they can generate some good product with this venture.
April 4, 201412 yr Member I do wish them good luck but I am sort of already overwhelmed by watching content on Netflix, Hulu,You Tube and a few other odd online programs, in addition to reading and my writing duties and life in general. This messageboard is also a release. I don't really have much inclination to add another online viewing site for now. And not to sound like a cheapie but if it's going to charge a fee, I'd be even less inclined to watch at this time. I'll sit through some ads but as for another monthly subscription fee (or a la carte), I'd have to say...I'm out of that one.
April 4, 201412 yr Member CC had a prominent role on ALL MY CHILDREN? Since when is an under-five a prominent role, you lesbo-ass-kissing heffa?

They want advertisers to be involved in casting? Why? Can the advertisers tell Crystal Chappell to keep her face off the screen until it stops looking like Kane in Dragonfire? I wish them luck, but I hope they change that logo. It's like one of those annoying pop-ups that tells you about all the money the government owes you, if you throw enough bottles at cans.

I don't know a lot about Crystal Chappell but she seems so arrogant. Why don't others here like her? How do you feel about her?
April 4, 201412 yr Member I don't know a lot about Crystal Chappell but she seems so arrogant. Why don't others here like her? How do you feel about her? I had no problem with her until recent years, where she butchered her face and took on this self-appointed role of icon of lesbionic soap opera. The gameplaying she and Nelson Branco did with Kristian Alfonso (who is a tough customer and who seemed to shut that [!@#$%^&*] down ASAP) did her no favors. She just seems like a big old mess. And I don't think her websoaps are good enough to warrant the headaches she seems to cause.
