Whomp whomp! The selling of Katie as some kind of relevant figure on today's TV landscape just annoyed the sh!t out of me.

Katie sucks, although I respectfully disagree with any suggestion that she hated GH (if that opinion has ever been implied on a soap message board). Katie only cares about herself, so she will either help or hurt GH, if she believes such action will help her show. Actually, I read somewhere (I think on SON) that Katie much preferred GH over The Revolution because the latter would have been a terrible lead-in, so maybe GH fans should be grateful to her (as she might have saved the show).

I am not at all surprised that her show was a failure, as predicted by many here. IMO, the reason why is that lightning rarely strikes twice: her big moment will only be The Today Show. One of the very few missteps Moonves has made was thinking that Katie could duplicate her Today success on the evening news. But ABC was so much more idiotic, because they had the knowledge that Katie flopped in something outside morning television. And honestly I think that Yahoo is brain-dead.
