wow, perfect. I could definetly go for that. Adam's father was a loser that abandoned him and his mother was a drug addict that was in and out of his life, which is why he would be sent to live with his aunt Hope for months/years on end while his mother tried to fix up her messed up life. When he learned who Victor Jr's real father was, he was envious. Maybe they got into a fight and he caused the accident that landed him in the hospital. He saw that as the opportunity to carry out his scheme. This would not only give him money and power, but would give him the opportunity to truly feel like he belonged in a caring family. Unfortunately for him, that's not exactly what he got. He used his newfound money to pay for Victor Jr's hospital bills out of guilt but also to ensure no one would learn of his existence.

I like this. This is a rare opportunity for Y&R to re-establish a character that was ruined by horrendous writing.

I'll mention something about this Adam being an imposter to a writer on twitter in a few weeks. Right now I feel like it is way too soon. They are probably still reeling from these crazy events.

Seriously, if everyone agrees that MM had to leave then why are some cast-members supporting him? Do you think the same cast-members might lobby against HK? (if the scenario we've been told about MM & HK is indeed true) I know this sounds like 1st grade issues, I'm just curious.

If Case is making such overt gestures, is this not going to make scenes between her and HK a bit awkward for that Sharon and Summer mentor aspect of the Jabot modelling thing?

That was my first thought as well, I will admit. Really, I think she just had a real friendship with him and she wants to support him, even though the hard time he's going through is his own doing. If what we've heard is true, it's reprehensible, but we all know (or at least know of) people who have done worse and have not been abandoned by their closest friends and family.

Notice that Sharon Case has not said he was fired wrongly or denied these rumors in any way. She hasn't rushed to his defense. She's just letting him know she still cares about him. So I don't think it will have any impact in her acting with HK.
