Kayla is annoying me lately, which is too bad because I like MBE. She rubbed me the wrong way when she told JJ that it's not up to him if Jen sees Daniel again. Sure, she's right, but it's also none of her business. She's just so self righteous and condescending lately. They need to give her something to do other then stick her nose in other people's affairs.

I love all the whole Sami/Kate/Gabbi/Nick stuff - it is probably the most camp stuff Tomsell have done during their tenure on this show. If I had a stick up my behind, I'd say it trivializes death and makes murder look like fun! but I am really enjoying it and taking it for what it is.

This screams Lorraine Broderick more then Tomsell, imho. When she was head-writing AMC in the mid 90s, she did a story where Janet/Erica/Skye thought they killed Dr. Kinder and tried to hide the body only for the body to vanish. Curious to see how this story is resolved.

To me, the pacing has improved these past nine months and it's due to the breakdown writer/associate writer moreso then the head-writers, imho. Plus, I like that the stories are going at different paces now. In the past, this body hiding story would have occurred on the same day as the Kristen wedding episode.

Has Chris Whitesell always been credited first since they came on board, or do he and Gary alternate. Just curious to see his name pop up first on Tuesday's show, and what that may imply about the direction the show's taking (perhaps Chris has taken the lead from Gary for the moment or something?)

I always tend to see the head writers alternate the first spot on the credits for a long time

I've been happy with the direction of the writing (which had meandered for a bit during summer) since about October or so. Since then, some huge "explosion" (JJ's breakdown, Chad's shooting, Theresa's brush with death, Kristen being exposed, Nick "dying") happens that takes the story to new directions.

Loved seeing Sami and Nicole going at it today. Wish we could get more scenes between them. I loved that scene at the end of Sami mistaking EJ for Nick! Those copouts have been very well done.

On a side note, I'm so relieved to have Alison Sweeney finally styled decently. From 2011 or so up to the early this year, her hair and clothes on DAYS were horrendous.

Does Brady not have a bedroom? WTF is he snorting a line in the Kiriakis living room? He is so stupid.
