That was some of the best stuff Alden wrote. And Jess Walton & Jerry Douglas were truly heartbreaking in them.

I can't believe I was actually upset the first few days after she was recasted. laugh.png I got used to it real fast, though. tongue.png

Billy's whole alcohol story was great. David Tom did such a good job playing the build up to that moment. It was J.T. at his worse as he did not want to get involved. Brittany was the same. It was Raul who came through for Billy. The scenes that followed with John, Jill, Billy, and Raul were very moving.

I want them all back & Lauren back too. If anything just for a few episodes.

About today's episode of Y&R.

Dylan wanting to bring Ian Ward back into the picture. ph34r.png Why is Avery surprised Dylan wants to know more? She started the snooping.

There has been a lot of Jill and I'm loving this. Victoria acknowledging Eve. That was nice and I've been waiting on that for years. I don't think they ever mentioned Eve when Victoria lost her baby with Billy and then lost custody of Reed.

Can't wait for Jack to find out about Adam. Tired of that friendship. Never found it believable.

They mentioned Eve?!! :wub:

They also didn't mention Eve at all when Victoria miscarried Brad's baby, which was such a ridiculous, glaring omission (naturally, I'm sure neither LML or the scriptwriter even knew Victoria had another baby). I kept waiting for it to happen, to be tied back to such a momentous occasion but... nope.

Eve was born and died a few episodes later. The scene were Cole carried Victoria to see Eve for the first (and only) time is heartbreaking.

My aunt had a graveside funeral for her still born baby so...I love Traci. Am I the only one who want to see her in a full blown romance again. I long for it desperately. Okay...I don't remember the particulars of the birth. Not sure I actually saw this episode either. Thank you so much.

Eve was not stillborn but she died very quickly. My memory is fuzzy but I do remember a scene where Victoria and Cole went to see her. It was heartbreaking. I am glad they had her mention her daughter too. I also love have been loving all the Jill scenes with Victoria and Chloe. I get the feeling that Jill will not be a fan of Ms. Kelly.

      I think in some ways the story could have been stronger because Wendy and Stephanie had a more nuanced mother-daughter relationship and Lisa Peluso could act, but I don't really think Louise worked as Stephanie, so the impact wouldn't have been the same.  That would be a better way to bring drama than another serial killer story. And Sarah probably would have snapped and Jo would have been held hostage again... As someone said above, I do wonder why Philip Brown didn't last longer. Then again, I'm not sure why Kevin Conroy didn't last longer either.

      Bored or just bored with story or character: Ashley Derek Pamela Vanessa Doug Joey aka Jon Lindstrom....he truly sucks in the role. The gambling set, gambling story hate and bored with a passion. Dani and Andre in bed every five seconds.....yawn! Diego the fitness guy....yawn!! Today's show, minus Kat, Eva, and Jacob/Leslie sprinkled in, was very boring!

      I do think Vanessa was lesser than Reva and Alexandra in those runs, but I think Long also gave Vanessa a centerpiece on the show she never would have had otherwise, and she did bring the character back (I know Maeve had only wanted a break but if Long had not wanted her to return, she wouldn't have returned).

      Well, Catherine Hicks did say once that the only way she'd agree to a reboot is if started with Eric's funeral. I used to love this show when I was little but I watch it now and all I do is roll my eyes. The writing was so heavy handed and honestly, the Camdens were a bunch of pretentious, judgmental snobs

There are some Israeli citizens who don't support what Netanyahu is doing, and I hope they are able to enact some positive change from within.

      -- I'm not unhappy that Nina and Carly had a bad fight including slapping and tackling and falling down. But geez, all that insane SCREAMING was over the top. It was three minutes of shrieking, and I thought it was all too much. -- And ANOTHER day of Dante ripping Gio and Gio again discussing his sins and failures. Make it end already. -- In the previews, Gio is walking the Nurses Ball red carpet with Joss. Uh...why??? I don't know why Joss is there at all. Doesn't she have some secret agent stuff to do? -- Chase is at the end of the previews, yelling into the phone "You want me to do WHAT???"  My guess is that's another fakeout that there's something important going on, and that Chase got a call to perform at the Nurses Ball. This show....
