I did feel sorry for what's her name but I couldn't sustain the empathy. Robin is just > Sabrina (!), and every time they cut back to Sabrina, I thought, "So, now what for this girl? I have the exact pair of ankle boots that Carly sported today, and they are as beautiful in person as they are on screen. Unfortunately, I can't wear them now because of my bad knee. I can't bring myself to letting them go.

I've never made the connection either, but for me, that was always because Bobbie was never really given anything to do with LW's Carly. Anything major happening with Carly always excluded Bobbie. When Michael was shot, Bobbie was barely there. Michael went to jail, and still no Bobbie.
