November 18, 201312 yr Member It's hard to believe both Alice and Steve have shuffled off this mortal coil. Reinholt was intense and magnetic in a way soap actors just weren't before he came on the scene. As young as I was during the Alice-Rachel-Steve era, I was riveted. And I know my mom and aunt thought he was very hot!
November 19, 201312 yr Member Thanks for reading! I have a few more I will try to put up or link to. I wish some of that era was around. You can see what a big deal it was. They aren't in this one but I think in another one, even Agnes Nixon did photos, and I think she'd mostly moved to AMC by this time. Edited November 19, 201312 yr by DRW50

November 19, 201312 yr Member Someone sent the WLS article to Nic Coster (Robert Delaney) on Facebook. "A loving send off to dear George Reinholt. A caring, sensitive and exciting actor with a penetrating intelligence and wit! He was deservedly a legend in the golden age of soaps." This is what Robin Strasser tweeted. Saddened by news #GeorgeReinholt passed at 72. Gladdened by obit that states he wrote a book-that's edited by a friend. George had a STORY:)
November 19, 201312 yr Member I don't have the last pages of this. Edited November 19, 201312 yr by DRW50
November 19, 201312 yr Member I have a few others around, just don't have them right at this second. TV Radio Mirror.
November 19, 201312 yr Member Lovely articles. Thank you, Carl. I'm sorry he had to learn first hand that his theory about willing cancer away was wrong.
November 19, 201312 yr Member Again, thanks for the articles, DRW50 - they are great, and I appreciate the efforts you took to post them.
November 26, 201312 yr Member This is from a 1969 Afternoon TV when George was appearing in Cabaret on Broadway.
November 26, 201312 yr Member Thank you. I wish there was footage of that. He probably would have been a standout in that type of role.
