AMC viewers accepted Anna fairly quickly, especially with David. Alex was the problem.

Why are people so sure Ava is a short term character? I don't get it, given the deeds of some of the long term characters on this show.

I'm pretty sure Maura has a short-term contract but I could be wrong. Ava also killed one of the major female characters, not that others haven't done horrible things, but killing an innocent woman doesn't usually garner staying power.

When I see Anna, Duke, Robert and Robin in a room together and realize that everyone of them have come back from the dead, I realize how far out soaps have become. It's nothing new, but sometimes it just smacks me in the face. I miss the more grounded version of soaps.

The one of GH was fantastic because we are captivated by robins return and can't wait to see how it shakes out. Sorry the one on AMC is Amc fans could have cared less about a GH reunion on their soap. I just remember at the time everyone was praying Amc would dump finola. The Amc fans had a field day with her they just hated her. Honestly would u want Alex to come to GH?

All My Children was better. It was 4 episodes May 30, 31, June 1 & 4, 2001 but AMC covered so much GH history and respectfully

Hell when Mac was on AMC in Oct 2001 they did GH history so well andit was only six minutes of screentime
