Alexis should have re-directed when the Logan topic came up. Unfortunately for Lulu, that perjury will be her undoing. There is no way Dante will lie on the stand.

As for Diane, as aggressive as she might be as an attorney, the abortion/murder thing set women back 100 years. I know they wanted to show Diane as a shark, but it was an incredible disservice to women to have her even go there. Alexis' objection shows that there was never any intention that abortion is murder was the point they wanted to get across, but just having Diane say it as an educated supposedly sophisticated women IN A COURTROOM was in such poor taste. She knows better. It was so insulting!

Some recasts are permanent (and in some cases, like Lucky, they should have stayed permanent). It just depends on the situation. Our saviors didn't give a care about Scorpio with Tristan, they wouldn't without him either, unless they cast the role with one of their fantasy men. I guess JPL is out of work.

I really wasn't all that serious about the recast suggestion. I was just mocking the outrage that Ron had to write around an exit that could have easily been prevented. Just like I laughed at his whining about having to rewrite entrances for the OLTL three, when the solution was simple from the jump. Should have introduced them as new characters from the beginning and not trashed OLTL characters to prop GH at all.

That's what I've been wondering since this whole thing started. I sure hope they had a lot of buckets and test tubes in that lab. Of course Ron doesn't bother with that because he's assuming the plotting is using "soap time," even though the characters have all been readily referencing [!@#$%^&*] as happening like a month ago in their time, well after Robert and Anna were imprisoned.

Sure, I know, Ron - "it's just a soap!" I only hear that fifty times a week at this point.

Robin could have said she was absolutely anyone, so what does she say? She claims to be a big loud black woman! She was taking quite a risk that Carlos never met Epiphany bc that's a pretty unique name and she's quite a memorable character. Why didn't she just say she was like Becky Smith or something generic? BTW, not a fan of her ombre hair

Wow, Robin hears that Carlos is dangerous and mixed up with the mob so she goes and encourages him to be with Sabrina....lol. Gotta take out the competition.

Nik and Britt were great. I really am enjoying this couple

Tracy is the biggest hater in daytime and is a Grinch for everyone that's not her family, yet she acts super excited about Sabrina getting married? Give me a break!

    • Erwin Nicholson's last episode as SFT ep was 11/21. Whitesell started 11/22/85. Erwin was on board from March 8, 1985 so less than 9 months. Whitesell lasts six months (approximately) before P&G moved him to AW for two years where he primarily worked with DePriest. Whitesell was replaced on Search by no daytime experience David Lawrence who closed out the show's last six months.
    • CBS is commemorating Don Diamont's 40th anniversary of his start on CBS soaps.  (They're not counting his 1984 on DAYS). Y&R posted on IG, to appear on B&B and cbstv IG accounts as well. (IG post link)  It's a batch of photos. Y&R posted same photos on facebook  (fb post link) Y&R did a youtube with individual messages from their cast: Heartfelt and fun from Peter Bergman, Beth Maitland, Eileen Davidson, Tracey Bregman, Joshua Morrow, and Eric Braeden. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xdFxgA7gPcY Stephanie Sloane interviewed Diamont for tvinsider/tvguide. • I assume in name only?  One Stormy Night wasn't exactly steamy.  If it's a literal throwback then Stephanie's writing about sexy times her own Uncle was having lol. Since I am going to surmise it's just a throwback to the name, Night Sins and Winter Heat both sound sexier.  Just saying.  I swear Jamey (and Ron) just google things and land on the first thing they like and decide it's a good throwback to history without watching it.
    • I usually don't want Tide placement in the middle of an intense sad scene, but this is an interesting point

    • Thanks!   Was anyone watching during this time? Wondering how Peggy’s rape played out onscreen. It just seems cruel to subject the Brooks family to this trauma a 2nd time.   Feels like the writers have already given up on the character of Jennifer, even though she sticks around another year-plus. She should be a passionate and fierce protective mother, but instead she seems just reactionary (and not even mentioned in this recap) This was also the case in ‘73 when Chris was raped. The writers are definitely more invested Stuart as the Brooks parent.
    • BTG got another SNL reference at 00:50  CONTEXT (so it isn't misconstrued) in this joke swap segment, Michael Che frequently makes his white cohost Colin Jost read racist jokes written by Che.
