What shocks me is that people thought it might be anything but TERRIBLE! Nothing this young woman has done has been remotely good, and she's had time to put a serious dent int his craft. She has not. KA better stop training under Farrah Fath. Now, all she gets to do is play in the halls with her lesbian boyfriend again.

He had some energy. If that qualifies as showing up, then he did. I was proud of him. I thought he might have some embarrassment trying to ressurrect his youth, but he embraced it and played it. As ridiculous as I thought it was, I can't blame Easton for holding back.

But the story wasn't well received IMO. Lynn Herring admitted in her interview that half the audience liked it and half hated it. In some quarters that's considered success. I think her estimation is generous. But who really knows?

I think the whole thing will be fine if FrankenRon are given enough time. They are stubbornly determined to push this to the limits no matter what and soap audiences are forgiving. Most importantly, I think the ponytail will not last. It's all about the hair.

As for RH, he'll do fine as well. It sounds like he's playing a different kind of quirky grey character that he does best.

If they were truly your friends, dear, they wouldn't call you "Kiki."

In the Philippines "kiki" is a slang term for... vagina. Seriously.

And you know FRon as part of their summer teenpalooza will come up with a musical episode or 20 for Miss Alderson in which she does perform "Let's Have a Kiki." And, owing to the character's apparently bad girl style and "ReRon" being who he is, said performance will be in the vein of the infamous OLTL "Jailbait" video...

LOL..I have a cousin whom we call Kiki. She's black though so I laughed when I saw that they were calling KA's character that

Not to be all its okay cause your cousins black, but it's okay cause your cousin's black...I'm black so it's okay that I say that.

That's why they call her "Kiki." She's just a walking piece.

Yep, it definitely has an NBC Mystery Movie ring to it.

That probably fits KA's Kiki as well.

I don't see that James Franco was particularly irreplaceable on GH. Wasn't his character and performance almost universally panned? To me, the bigger question is why saddle any actor with that albatross of a character. He should have stayed DEAD. Not soap dead. Just DEAD and forgotten, imo.

    • Dear sweet June, you'll get it right eventually.  In the meantime it's a good chuckle.

    • Damn, Leslie went in on Shanice... poor girl! Leslie really can't handle stress or certain emotions well, she lashes out. I also think it's weird she wants to know so many details about Eva's love/sex life. Vernon was sweet to June. It was nice (realistic) to see a customer complain to her though while she's still trying to establish herself. I'll be that guy, but for me personally, my enthusiam/excitement over the show has stalled yet again over the last couple weeks. For the majority, it seems like we're in a holding pattern until Winterfest. It's like they don't want to rock the boat or do much until then, which leaves us in a quiet period here. Are sweeps a thing still these days? Seems odd that we're having a slow November. That ending was good, but I saw that coming... in theory it should have a quick resolution, but I'm guessing Leslie will expose it at Winterfest and it'll get throw out of proportion haha.
    • Yes. Why? I don't really care. Vanessa is also acting dumb, trying to run between tables, on a date with Ross in one room and a business meeting with Alan in another.  One of the few times Van is written as less than the smart woman she was.
    • I've been specifically looking for the episodes for Ross and Van together, because they essentially both raise Dinah at that period and the recaps around her typically avoid the Dorie years, the carnies, or Alan-Michael and Cam. I'm really just trying to trace a throughline between Paige, Wendy, and Gina. The last two are "easy," but it just messes with my timeline when Dinah thinks Alan-Michael would kill Ross. Then again, that Alan-Michael slept with his own stepdaughter, so...
    • Anyway...they literally mentioned the secret room today on Days and yes, this show needs a Kristen lesbian story lol.
    • Yes, they did a 'premiere' of Maggie's death episodes at the ArcLight theatre in Los Angeles, arguably then the nicest movie theatre chain in the USA. Plus, Suzanne and Deidre were in a ton of scenes together during this time. Whatever happened between them happened after 2004.
    • There are episodes with Jenny (Mary Ellen Stuart) that she was in pre-writers strike.. and I know that she lasts until at least August 1988. It's a shame that the show didn't try pairing her with Rusty since the two had more chemistry than she had with Ross and that he had with Rose.
    • Was that when she put on the"Slut of Springfield" red dress and made a complete ass of herself at the CC, so of course Alan fell madly in love with her on the spot?
    • Oohh...now I'm not sure. Long did come back in '87, didn't she. She broke up Ross and Vanessa almost from her first minute back. Van and Ross are at the Country Club when Josh dumps Reva. And Reva dramatically drapes herself on the CC stairs.
    • Glad you enjoyed watching. Yes, Michael seems like fun. I am always interested in more of these niche talk show appearances.
