Great episode.

I like the very specific way they write Tea. Her pain/hurt manifests itself through anger; hitting Victor, throwing stuff. Very well played. And I love how underplayed the scene with the kids was. When he started calling them to come over, I feared it was going to be all nose flaring and no substance but it was very well done. Sam was cute and funny, reacting in a very plausible way. Dani was mostly silent. Jack wanted to run off. All subtle stuff but the point came across really well.

I loved both Jack and Matthew here. A lot in their behavior just rings true. I found Jack wanting to bleed Todd for money funny and I am not surprised Matthew does not want any involvement with his kid. It's definitely not right, but I understand it. Destiny is very green but not at all bad. I can see her improving and turning into a major player if she wants to.

Viki/Todd are always great. I LMAO when that extra was waiting (visible in the shot) to get his nod to walk by  Couldn't they have refilmed/edited that? lol

Good cliffhanger, too!

I think they cast a more black actor for Drew to make up for the fact that they obviously went for a lighter, more "safe" choice for Destiny. I still stand by my belief that they cast Destiny (and probably Jeffrey and Cassandra) the way they did because they intend to use them in frontburner storylines. I don't buy the whole "they cast for talent" when the new Destiny is clearly struggling. I'd say the same for Cassandra on AMC as well. They clearly went for looks over acting. It doesn't bother me that much though, I'm used to this happening all over tv and film.

I really dont think that much thought was put into it. He was probably the most well behaved child that day of casting. As others said, he'll probably be recast soon anyway

Cheap that's probably right re: Drew, but I bet by the time he's a teenager he'll look more like Drake than say Ray J or Sean Blackmore lol.

I'm okay with the lack of a Jessica mention. It's not like the ABC show kept us up to date on where Joey and Kevin were. And honestly, I'd rather see either of them anyway, preferably Tom Degnan's Joey! :D

lol...imagine if Jessica is still in town; we just dont see her

I wonder if Nora ever made good on her promise or if Lindsay is still in prison. Loved to see Cat do a stint in the future

The episode was good but something is missing and I can't put my finger on it. I would have loved to have seen original Matthew stay in the role....I just can't get into new Matthew.

And the OLTL sets are just awful.....

I have lost track of what he has done with that [!@#$%^&*] poison. I think he may have emptied it. I hope we find out tomorrow.

Jessica as the Maris Crane of OLTL 2.0? Works for me! smile.png

The network run toward the end was saturated with Jessica and alters, the writers now probably don't want to even mention her, since the character's story lines were absurd.
