I really hope this Ava thing is a red herring and Morgan is in fact gay. I doubt they'll go there though. I suspect Carly will be battling the cougar "corrupting" her son. It would be something though if they brought on a new male enemy for Sonny that Morgan was secretly messing with. Now that would be some crazy ish, original and something I'd want to watch

You really are new to RC's style aren't you? ;)

His contrived "TJ punches Rafe" nonsense is typical of what Ron at his worst does--he has a character who everyone likes, but he doesn't want that character to be the end game so he writes them doing something completely out of character--and at least for some audiences it apparently works, since you no longer like him.

And that fantasy was classic too--there would be no way Ron would not drag out this reveal and probably make formally morally straight Ellie become a psycho in the process) so us longterm watchers knew from the first moment it was a fantasy, making the fact that it ran ALL episode long just a ton of filler.
