I axed Friday's ep after 20 mins. I was like...Well, ain't this shittastic.

Today's is the same old crap that started Friday. So....Screw it.

Until Kevin gets back. I think I'm gonna listen to music or watch WKRP in the 2pm slot. Thank Jesus for headphones.

After seeing how good AMC/OLTL were. I freaking mean it this time. GH is over for me until Kevin returns.

I need to figure out how to Nutterize my profile avatar picture thingy.

Most of the dancing in the opening was good, but it didn't make for a great opening. I liked AMC's better but without the character name tags. How outdated is that? So yes, both shows need to modernize their openings IMO. Most primetime shows have very short openings. I think OLTL and AMC should follow suit.

The one thing I really want to catch on GH is AJ & Carly's hatefvcking session. Otherwise, I'm pretty much done for now.

I don't know if I'll watch AMC or OLTL every day (I'll probably be following OLTL closer, just out of familiarity), just because I have other things in life I have to focus on right now, but I'm definitely excited to see how the two of them develop.

Thank you for the lesson on how to Nutterize my pic. I will try that.

It just occurred to me: this is the first time in ten years that I am remotely interested in the young 20-something scene. Cool.

    • Yes I think BTG needs another meeting place that bridges Orphey's and the Country Club.  But otherwise BTG offers a hospital set, a police station and homes for several characters. The set situation may be better than 2021 but that doesn't mean much today. And calling the changes at CL and Sharon's cottage updates is  a stretch. Having characters visit several restaurants in one day or even return to the same one in the same day is ridiculous. And then to focus the show around business makes it even more laughable as there are few offices and staff in evidence. I don't know what the answer is unless someone is prepared to shell out a few bucks. As I said before having more characters work at Jabot, Newman or Winters would help. I quite liked that business set Devon had. We could see Devon, Abby,Lily, Nate and whoever else could work there in an actual business setting.
    • I have a feeling that the backstage dramas of the soaps are a heck of a lot more enthralling than anything we see on screen.
    • While keeping up with the current show I’ve also been watching May and I finally got to Phillip’s beating. Was surprised they went so far but I loved it. A nice reminder that no matter how much you doll him up, Xander at his core is a thug.    Great scenes between Xander and Sarah. I do enjoy them happy but they are an extremely toxic and untrusting couple. This was some of LG’s best work as Sarah.

    • The one that comes immediately to mind is that she obviously was still harboring resentment against Kate Linder. She tells a story of Linder meeting with producers to pitch a storyline about Esther dealing with Kay's death.
    • I think it shows a lack of imagination from Griffith and the people calling the shots. Yes, there are budgetary and physical limitations, but Griffith and team would rather make the laziest and quickest decisions than put a little more effort into the set situation.  That said, B&B also seems to be in a similar set predicament. I know the plans for Y&R and B&B to move to a new studio were put on hold, but maybe a bigger space would remove some of these restrictions and give them more set variety. Someone should definitely revisit those plans.
    • I thought my ears were hearing things wrong when I was working and listening to the show. But Lucky is leaving again already
