Prospect Park Sues ABC Over ‘One Life To Live’ & ‘All My Children’ Licensing Agreement

Does anyone else think this may be a genius publicity stunt by PP? ABC is claiming they haven't been served, the complaint looks like it was written by some intense fan ("soapocalypse" "epic" and exclamation points are not things you usually see in legal documents), the damages request is excessive and will be laughed out of court. A week away from the premiere, they are getting all kinds of coverage. If so, I say good strategy Prospect and godspeed. If this is real, I wish they would have just left GH alone after securing the domain names (the only reasonable request in the entire absurd complaint) and focused on the amazing OLTL canon of characters available to them- some much history they could mine.

I don't get why they're salivating so hard over these 3 characters when there are tones of OLTL characters that could be mined from, bring back some Wolek's for instance

If PP is salivating over anything, I imagine it's the actors with their built-in fan bases rather than the characters they portray(ed).

It's a divorce where the couple had no problem deciding who gets the house, the car and spousal support, but they'll rot in hell before they give up custody of their three dogs.

The same could be said for GH. Why did/are they fighting so hard for these three?
