Well it looks like there is no Robert Scorpio for the 50th Anniversary. Tristan was on RHeart Radio and said he has not been contacted. I believe him. I really can't believe TPTB are bringing back all these iconic characters but not Robert Scorpio. Other than Luke & Laura, Robert was pretty much GH's most popular character. I'm shocked he won't be around for the big anniversary.

Seriously peeps don't believe everything you hear, Ingo also said he hadn't been contacted then like a week later we hear of his return.

FV is keeping things under wraps, Robert will be back, I'll bet on it

Frank Valentini has made it very clear that the returns just won't be happening the next few weeks, but rather the entire year. GH isn't just celebrating its 50th on April 1st, but rather the whole year.

Im sorry but there are TOOO many returns. Robert not returning for the 50th anniversary is not that big of a deal bc he'd be nothing more than a driveby. He went out in a MAJOR story that needs attention and when they do get back to him, I want them to have the time to actually showcase him. A 50th anniversary cameo appearance wont do him justice

I am dreading the anniversary.

IDK. I want him back for more than a cameo so I think I'm fine if he doesnt come back for the anniversary. I'm sure he'll come out of his coma at some point.

The only way that I can justify Robert not being back for the 50th is if his return is tied to a storyline that'll last past the golden anniversary.

Not to be nitpicky, but when GH turns 50 it's "anniversary year" is over. On April 2, they'll be celebrating their "51st season"

Perhaps Emma Samms wasn't available at this time and they want to save them for part of a big adventure story for the summer? That's my hope anyway. Then again, he was only asked back earlier because Tony was dealing with something so there's that.

I think they're saving him for their big summer adventure story instead of using him and Holly as five second drive bys in an anniversary episode.
