March 11, 201312 yr Member If they wanted to undo AJ's paternity (as I think someone mentioned a few pages back), they actually have science on their side. Early into the story, when Alan checked the hospital records on AJ's blood test, it came out that there was no possible way Alan could be AJ's father, the blood types not only don't line up, but cannot possibly be related to a man with Alan's blood type. Now, unless there was some sort of blood test tampering going on at that time, the test still stands, regardless of whether or not AJ has Alan's birthmark. The whole twist that AJ was actually Alan's never sat well with me once I saw that scene and did the research. It kinda reeked of bad science or a retcon. But that's just me. I would be absolutely heartbroken if Alan was not AJ's father! Absolutely heartbroken! And secondly, there is no way if RW was AJ's father, I'd want FRon anywhere near this story!
March 11, 201312 yr Member Oh Lord another RC vs Guza fight. When I opened this, I was half expecting Robert but I don't mind this return. I hope Denise Alexander is announced anyday now. So over Robert and would take Rick Webber any day of any week! I don't trust FRon with my man Chris Robinson, but it's still Chris Robinson, so I will have to be strong! Oh, and as long as Hack Carlivarti is at the helm, there will always be fights because some don't realize that loathing this clown is not equivalent to loving Guza NO MATTER HOW MANY TIMES WE SAY IT!
March 11, 201312 yr Member I would simply give Ron a co-writer who insists they stop the 24-7 plot drive and focus on characters. Someone good, someone experienced, and someone strong. Preferably not someone already at GH - that talent pool is almost entirely old, bitter Guza hands who are too hardwired for his show, or Carlivati people with the same loyalty. And they'd have to be allowed that leverage by Valentini. Edited March 11, 201312 yr by Vee

To be honest I don't think GH has felt like a soap since Wendy Riche, and even then it wasn't a very good soap by the last 3-4 years. I think the show has gone from anti-soap to a bad parody of a soap. No one in charge knows or cares about what makes a soap tick and that doesn't seem to change.
March 11, 201312 yr Member I'd take it over Trassions 2.0! Seriously though, I always thought that Bob Guza's fans and supporters were imaginary. I never thought I would ever encounter anyone who would actually defend him, especially here SON. LOL! Edited March 11, 201312 yr by Ann_SS

He's willing to take some chances and doesn't take it too seriously, but someone said awhile ago and I agree with it that his shows always end up coming off like bad fanfic. If they teamed him up with a strong outside writer, that MAY work, but they need to really have some sway in how things are run, and be able to keep Ron's imagination in check. A concept of pacing would also be nice.

Ironically, some of his biggest cheerleaders are also "Cartini" cheerleaders - that's mostly at Daytime Confidential.

I guess someone's probably pressed cause Carly isn't front and center like with Guza, which is how it should be given Carly(and Sason) is one reason why the show was near being dead and buried

Come out and say what you mean, and I have been ragging on FRon since day one. Hell, since the announcement that they were coming on board! Let's be fair here, ok.
March 11, 201312 yr Member Yes, what about Denise Alexander? I'd much rather see him with Charleston! Loved Rick and Monica's affair back in the day! Didn't like my Alan being cuckolded, but it was still good!
March 11, 201312 yr Member Fix somebody's esle mess when he's busy creating his own? I mean he brought back AJ and that's amounted to nothing but talk about relish FAIL! LMFAO!
