Per the description, sounds like she's playing a young Celia.

Good. I'm not in the mood for a new crop of babies after we just SORASed the one we had.

If you're switching, then I want 80's supermodel Erica!

You got her.

Just don't be surprised if your fake half-sister shows up and messes with the heel on your slingback.

More and more I think the person she sees in the mirror is her father (or a parental figure) who abused her as a child. Is Agnes Nixon doing another incest story? (Well Marlene Mcwhatever her name is I mean tongue.png .) If done right it can be powerful--and it also sets up an obvious romantic situation if someone (Pete?) helps her admit to what happened. (Isn't that how Ceara and Jeremy connected?)

So who is going to be oldest, shortest Vegas showgirl Erica?

Did someone already choose Phantom of the Erica?

I'm not sure it is how they connected but it was a huge part of their story.

This reminds me, I didn't know who Genie Francis was when she was All My Children. I liked Ceara but I didn't know who Genie Francis was from a stranger on the street. Ceara and Erica's Enchantment cat-fight is still probably my favorite cat-fight of all time. I don't think they touched each other but there was an extraordinary amount of throwing and blocking.

I also get the impression it's some sort of child molestation story in the pike for Celia.

I'm glad someone else agrees.

Yeah--I was 11 mind you, but I had no idea who Genie Francis was either--and even when, prob just a year later I was getting out from the library every soap book I could find and learned about the Luke and Laura ratings bonanza, I still didn't make a connection... sigh.

Considering David's entire family has been wiped out, YES, I do want to see his small child with Cara, preferably a son, since girls haven't worked out well for him!

that unfortunately isn't allowed here. Thanks though. Managed to save it for later reading

The print version of EW has been awful for soaps--though they had quick little blurbs in their TV section for Y&R and GH's anniversary shows (which were actually pretty flattering and not dismissive) and of course that hated Death of Soaps article a while back. I remember when they started and they wrote better, longer pieces they often featured articles (like that great 1991 article about Linda Gottlieb coming to shake OLTL up) and had a regular, albeit small, soap column. Still I hope in the next issue there is some mention of the online reboots.

Thank GOD you didn't post a clip from the hilariously awful film of the musical with poor Lucille Ball croaking her way through--or I would have had to revoke your gay card.

What's a Gay Card????
