Why? Because he faired better than the rest of the Q clan? Outside of him being so gorgeous, this is one of the reasons I've always loved Ned. He didn't allow the Qs to break him.

no because he all he does is judge and judge, especially AJ and acts like he's never done anything wrong while doing all this judging.

This! The guy is VERY judgemental and he goes around acting like his ish dont stink while sticking his nose down at people around him. Ned has way too much of an "Im better than you" attitude and he isnt subtle about it at all

Ned was and is horrible. Out of all the Qs he is the one I wanted to die the most except for Emily (whose death I relished)

Ned was the beginning of the show seeing the Qs as silly wackos who would hurt themselves through their own incompetence. Before Ned--more specifically before Wally Kurth as Kurt McKinney's Ned was perfectly fine--the Qs managed to tie their shoes, cross the street and get through the day without tripping and falling. Then with WK, suddenly it was "The Qs are morons, I am the gatekeeper, it is my job to protect them from themselves because they are all idiots". Well, Edward, Monica, Alan and Lila got along just fine keeping their own gate. Heck, before Ned who even knew they had a gate that needed keeping? He demeaned and diminished the family at every turn, and that invited everyone else to do so also. So then Lois came and she didn't want her kid anywhere around them. Then it was Reginald and Jason, then it was Emily lecturing them non-stop, then it was Dillon who wanted nothing to do with them. It all started in the early 90s with WK as Ned. He was horrible, and never more so than when during the holiday dinner when he started singing to preserve his own sanity. I have not missed him once, and while it is nice Tracy has someone to talk to, it's just a shame it isn't Dillon. I don't know how any of them could tolerate being in the same room with him.

I thought about starting to watch GH for the upcoming nurses ball, but the Universe (mother nature, God, whatever it is) doesn't want me to. I tried setting up the DVR on Wednesday night for both GH & the final American Horror Story episode and somehow set the timer for AM instead of PM, so no GH that day. Then I fixed that on Thursday and when I tried to watch Friday's episode, it's just blackness for the whole hour. I don't know if the station was out or my cable box refused to show it! Either way, I'm taking it as a sign not to try again.tongue.png

I'm still wondering why we're supposed to care about the 12 yr old over Britt...Patrick hasn't even shown any interest the 12 year old.

Is it bad that I never actually want to see KS' version of Kate again. I'm okay with Connie these days.

Starr you do not grieve about Cole/Hope everyday...You didn't even grieve for a month.

That's called, "Someone read a message board."

Too little too late.

YES!

Random Q: Did Alan (Stuart Damon) appear this month?

He didn't.

I wish I'd known you guys years ago when I felt like I was the only person who hated Ned endlessly smirking at AJ and yammering about gatekeeper (this was his only scene for about 3 years).

I actually like him more now. I guess either the show has changed so much and I have less reason to be annoyed (since everyone is dead anyway), or it's because the show has him in a somewhat more positive relationship with Tracy, unlike the days when she was just his gorgon mother.

I have to give Tracy props for seeing that AJ in her words "isn't the same screw up he one was" and could admit he really might be able to run ELQ just fine without screwing it up

Thats probably it. The effect of Ned's sanctimonity isnt as magnified bc there arent many Qs around for him to look down upon
