January 30, 201313 yr Member Woe is me poor little vicitmized Connie, that's how it was used, she is anything but a victim. I like Tracy's human moments, but this one fell short and flat. Tracy of all people shouldn't have to be used to make us feel sympathy for Connie. That's propping. Propping isn't black and white. Connie is propped, Sabrina is propped and Kristina is propped all in different ways(Sam too but that's another story). Especially when Connie is so self-righteous when someone dares to try to make her pay for something or whatnot, blah, blah. Don't build sympathy for a character on the back of another one. Do it through their actions, show us, don't make it so that "oh Tracy is being nice to her, see Connie's not really the selfish, self-serving cow she's written to be!!" Kristina and Sam are not being propped. Who's propping Kristina? Hell nightime court sessions even conviently dissappeared though they were their a few weeks ago when Connie needed to get out of jail. Who's propping Sam currently? You must be getting her confused with McBain.
January 30, 201313 yr Member I thought that today and its obvious they are ignoring all of that. The entire premise behind her kidnapping Johnny and stopping him from confessing was bc then she'd lose her leverage to blackmail him and would go to Shadybrooke for treatment but thats been forgotten. Everyone is making deals with her and acting like she's a real person bc for intents and purposes RC has replaced Kate with Connie and it seems permanent. Its not like OLTL with Jess and Tess with Tess clearly always on the edge of being sent back unless she found a plan to hide and/or prevent Jessica's family from having her committed. No one is trying to help Connie and most have accepted that Connie is here to stay. That scene with Olivia the other day made that pretty apparent I noticed that and thought hse was gonna mention her own abortion That would've made the scenes even better/more emotional You said it. You best believe I said it!
January 30, 201313 yr Member I couldn't even watch the scenes where Sabrina called Britt out. I can't take this Disney channel sh-t. I am Team Britt by default!

DIsagreed--I'm fully with R Sinclair on this one. Having a character interact with another character *in* character, is decent writing and how soaps should be writing. Tracy's mixed reaction to Connie was perfectly in Tracy's character--I get what propping means, and it is used on shows, although I think people toss the term around on forums often when they simply don't like something.

Yeah, I kinda liked the scenes. Tracy had a relationship with Joe (and there should have been a friendship with Trey but whatever), it seemed perfectly fine to me.

I just thought that was a character being depicted as multi layered. I'm such a dolt!
