I hear the company behind USA hit Royal Pains has inked deals with SAG-AFTRA and DGA for the soaps’ production, eyed to begin in the first quarter of 2013.

Since All My Children is taping first, they probably needed to fill the role ASAP, so they moved him.

Hopefully this new model can actually act.. and if not, then it appears that the shows have not learned that casting talentless models was on the reasons soaps declined. I'd rather have an average looking person who can act.. as opposed to a hottie with limited abilities in acting.

Viki's DID story was very good in 94-95 but sputtered out in 96.

Not surprising, seeing as the DID story was no longer running by 1996.

If you want to trash Todd's story in 94-95, go ahead, there's certainly things to ceaselessly debate (with someone else, since that debate has been tired for thirteen years) but I don't think you'll find too many takers on that in the general audience. To most of the audience, particularly offline, those were all just part of the glory days.

Well, Petey was always attractive. I wonder if they'll make any nod to his egghead roots, but it was only a matter of time before Daniel Kennedy's would have grown out of them.

Wilson seems like a nice guy, though. Too old to play Matt, IMO.

I agree. I would have liked DK, but it's no crime that they didn't go after someone who played the role years ago.

And yes, way too old for Matthew, but perfect age for Petey. Just wondering who our Colby will be.
