I hear the company behind USA hit Royal Pains has inked deals with SAG-AFTRA and DGA for the soaps’ production, eyed to begin in the first quarter of 2013.

Im guessing AMC & OLTL actors will share dressing rooms as well as studio space.

I assume that it's going to be like job sharing or soap "summer camp" where an AMC actor gets to use the dressing room for five weeks then they either have to clear out or put their stuff away in a "locker" while the OLTL actor gets to use it then vice versa. That could make for interesting stories.

I'm SO glad the old AMC crew will be back too, including the directors!

The directors are unsung heroes and now we know many will be back .... They are named as Steven, Conal, Angela, and Chris in Jill Larson's excited, long Facebook message. It's great to see her so happy that many of the crewmembers they left behind in NY are involved with this new project, and so happy about how professional everything is at the new studio. This message should assuage any fears about her tone in the last video.

Who is Steven though? Steven Williford has been doing a great job directing Days.

Conal O'Brien, Angela Tessinari, Chris ...? I hope it's not Chris Goutman. I don't have anything against him as a director but I'd be scared he might be promoted at some point.

Chris Goutman (if that's who "Chris" is) is a good director and his involvement seemed inevitable given all the ATWT producers working on this. I agree as long as he is never promoted this if fine.

My feelings about this venture have been all over the place the last 2 months, but reading that Agnes is at the studio as all this is going on almost brought a tear to my eye, and I'm not even an AN worshipper.

Angela Tessinari was always a great director. Very happy she's back.
