Okay, I will have to actually see AMC to have any faith in this writing team. Based on the named and previous work I can't get excited. It makes me so sad to see one of Marlene's friends as Co-HW because I thought her DAYS team was terrible. I did enjoy some of their story IDEAS, but the execution was terrible in every way, Since most (if not all) if her DAYS writing staff was fired after her exit, I wouldn't be surprised if the entire team is made up of those people.

Based on names and body of work, there is so much to get excited about for OLTL. I can only hope both shows surprise us and are terrific.

I view this being no different than Passanante, Rayfield & Cascio, Brown & Esensten, Pratt or Kreizman & Swajeski. All of which added, shall we say, interesting colors to their takes of AMC. I'm simply racking this up as yet another one. If we can't get Broderick, Corley or even Walsh, then anyone else is a wait and see.

I'm just messing with him. I realize and fully respect and totally appreciated he doesn't give an opinion on the NEWS he is reporting. That's a good and needed trait of being a reporter. A trait sorely missing from many "Soap Reporters" as most can't keep their personal feelings/opinions out of the news they are "reporting".

I'm curious about what an associate head-writer does as opposed to a head-writer and/or co-headwriter? Plus, I'd love to know how they determined who would be chosen as headwriters for the shows? Were there story bible submissions? An interview portion before selections were made?

Plus, I'm curious why they selected two headwriters with no previous ties to All My Children. On the one hand, it is new blood.. but with one of the selected showcasing how badly she did DAYS (granted her ideas were very interesting and seemed to fit better on AMC then DAYS)... makes me wonder if PP has ever watched a soap opera before.
