HOLIDAY MIRACLE: Prospect Park Back On Track To Revive AMC and OLTL

  • Member

WTF!!!!!

EXCLUSIVE: Here is a great holiday gift for soap fans: I’ve learned that Prospect Park has revived its plan to continue cancelled ABC daytime dramas All My Children and One Life To Live online. I hear the company behind USA hit Royal Pains has inked deals with SAG-AFTRA and DGA for the soaps’ production, eyed to begin in the first quarter of 2013.

The AMC HW is already signed on, btw.

Did you say you like the person? Will There be a Co-Head??

I want Patrick J Gibbons as spidey Sam, that kid needs to return

They're stealing his lunch money and threatening his binky as we speak, I'm sure.

I do want this to work, really, but these people are thugs.

And I don't believe it's fair to claim that an all-new OLTL has issues with minorities when everyone here knows very well they're casting more people of color.

Agreed. Let's see what happens.

I think you might have marceline mixed up with DeeeDee, Vee. All marceline did was correct me on my saying that PP was averse to casting minorities in contract roles, pointing out Debbi and Darnell's (and Jordi and Lindsay's) signing onto AMC 2.0.

Whoever they are, they'll walk. I guarantee it.

I don't see why. It's not like there are a ton of opportunites to be a headwriter out there...

It's obvious which show PP is more interested in. The list for AMC looks dreadful....same [!@#$%^&*] as when it ended....I am wondering if all this [!@#$%^&*] is going to be free or not....might just watch OLTL depending on sets...etc...etc....but AMC...blah flush that...lol

Nope. But we have both agreed to wait and see so that's that.

Hmm...found something very interesting in the PR that I didn't include (but SOD stupidly did). Seems the conspiracy theorists re: PP may find themselves vindicated, lol.

darn you with your teasing mad.giftongue.png

We talking about this?

The Prospect Park PR and FerenComm teams are now working together on the outreach for The Online Network’s revival of “One Life to Live” and “All My Children.” In doing so, crossover may cause you to receive duplicates of this announcement.

Care to share what that is, exactly?

Headwriting opportunities have nothing to do with it, Eric.
