HOLIDAY MIRACLE: Prospect Park Back On Track To Revive AMC and OLTL

  • Member

WTF!!!!!

EXCLUSIVE: Here is a great holiday gift for soap fans: I’ve learned that Prospect Park has revived its plan to continue cancelled ABC daytime dramas All My Children and One Life To Live online. I hear the company behind USA hit Royal Pains has inked deals with SAG-AFTRA and DGA for the soaps’ production, eyed to begin in the first quarter of 2013.

If you believe the leaked documents Nelson Branco had then John is correct that they will both be 30 minutes Mon-Thurs and a recap on Fridays

A bit disappointed that Matthew has seemingly disowned his child. The dialogue sounds interesting...Certainly couldn't see SE/EA playing this..

It's keeping with what we saw towards the end of OLTL, Matthew wanted nothing to do with his kid or Destiny, so it's not out of left field

I'm happy the shows are going to be more edgy now.
For AMC, I like the idea of Angie hooking. . Let's also say that Erica, after being rejected by Jack at the party, was so sad that she lost her mind and fell off the wagon. She had sex with the guy - which would be shown in graphic detail with SuLu topless - at the liquor store and developed chlamydia; her discharge was so smelly that she fled Pine Valley for fear of a tabloid scandal. (This would be good to explain SuLu's absence). Susan Lucci could at least appear on the first episode to usher Erica out.

I am so in love with you this past week.

Using her for sex while still refusing to pay any child support is different than not wanting to be around. It's even more disgusting.

Let's just wait and see there's definitely more to the story with this script.

Aren't they changed around a bit? I remember some in the past haven't happened word for word or close to it

Ooooh, and there can be a mystery about who's behind the influx of hookers in town with the cops only finding out a Latin name, Quisquiliae. Finally, we learn the person's true identity when Angie angers her boss by not making enough money and we see it's Brooke beating her up!

not that anyone expected him to be on AMC2.0 but this is what Josh replied when asked

#SafeHavenChat @joshduhamel Do u still talk to ur former AMC co-stars? Would u go back to the new online AMC if asked? How did u enjoy T.O?

Josh Duhamel@joshduhamel

I do keep in touch with a lot of AMC co-stars. No, but I am glad the show is making a come back. #SafeHavenChat

i hear they will be using some older people. my source was wrong. thats good news. hope whatever they do that its a success. AMC lives. xx

Simple math - Darnell, Debbi and Vincent are all in their 50s, and given that Jesse and Angie were on in the early 80's as teens even their characters would realistically be early 50s. As Tad would be if he is indeed signed. The question is will they have any characters 60+ like OLTL, and will they be contract or recurring? I could see them trying for recurring with the 60+ on AMC.

I also don't want to see the senior set sexing it up in the bedroom, but I would be perfectly fine with the characters being very affectionate with each other. That would be very sweet to see.

I still want the idea of Opal being on--and running Myrtle's boarding house which would be a great place for young and new characters--and mean using just one set for a number of them.

Thanks!

I know we recently had a discussion in some thread or another about whether or not Agnes stole ideas from Bill, and I think someone (SFK maybe?) mentioned a dinner party where that was addressed and Agnes refuted it...I can't remember the details.

That was me (as are most of the too many mentions I make to the book All Her Children--you should pick it up if you hav en't). It was specifically about Bell using the facelift story--so stealing from Agnes was the accusation
