Raul's in this ep? I was gonna watch already, but now I have even more reason to! wub.png

Yes but his face is not all quite what you'd expect it to be! lol

Jaimie Lyn Bauer was in the audience at the wedding right?

That means Bauer and Eileen Davidson are getting double residual checks today (they both appeared in the DAYS episode from 1997 that re-aired today as well).

Wow, SoapNet is re-airing the 2002 Victor/Nikki wedding right now. I don't think they've ever done this in the past to match CBS' scheduling of old episodes.

Watching the classic eppy now. Is that Raul in the bed? I cannot remember WTF happened to him.

I was in school back then and only watched when I could back in the 90s/early 00s.

I miss Heather Tom's version of Victoria.

My Brad!!!!!! Before he got turned into a Brad-cicle. I loved him.

Paul...is looking damn fine.

OMG. It's Lynn. What the hell happened to her. She just disappeared of canvas.

Is that Mac with Raul?

And, oh my God. It's the porn opening!!!

Y&R really lost its identity when it jettisoned all of those great, long-running recurring characters (like Lynn, John Silva, Miguel) who made the show feel like a real community. Too bad this show traded them for stunt casting and psychos-of-the-week.

She stole Patty's identity, started seeing Emily as her psychiatrist, and, well, you know the rest. ;)

You can thank Jack Smith for that (who should have known a lot better).

LOVED the classic eppy. From what I can tell this wasn't even a great period in Y&R -- but they had such a solid cast as their main ensemble that they could get away with being mediocre. The show looked so much more lush and I loved the porn opening too.

Does the EP have any input in choosing which classic episode to run? I remember during MAB's stint they mainly reran episodes from her tenure. If it was JFP's choice to air an episode from the Alden/Smith years I hope that's indicative of what she and Griffith plan to do with the show.

The vast majority of that ensemble is still there...

No, that's up to CBS, they likely chose this episode because they probably plan to give Victor and Nikki a new wedding soon (perhaps for the 40th anniversary in March).

Maybe not, Maria did show a classic episode from the 80's and we know how her tenure went.

The vast majority? Maybe 50%.
