Watching the show feels like nothings going on

I just feel like the characters are so damaged right now - I don't give a shizz about Phyllis, Avery, Ronan, Nick, Jack, Noah, Adam, Sharon, Chelsea, Billy, Victoria, Summer, etc. I just simply don't care and I really want to. I want to love Y&R again. Hoping that Griffith can rebuild the show, but all indications tell me he's not the man to do it.

I actually care about Noah now and look forward to when her is on. Summer is alot more interesting than before thoguh she need not stay a mini version of her mother forever. Villy needs to break up and Chompers especially has gotta go! Victor is alot more tolerable now.

While I can't say anything Griffith has done has been as destructive as Maria/Hamner/Sheffer and Latham, there's just no real "pop" to his stories. Maybe it's still too early in his tenure, but it's not like he's had the most spotless track record either.

Honestly, I think Griffith is just setting the stage at this point. Resolving MAB's stories (Sharon, Paul's trial, etc.), fleshing out some ill-defined characters (Avery, Adam, Noah, Chelsea, Leslie, Summer, Fen, Sarge), cutting the dead wood from the cast, getting everything into position before they can really move forward with their own stories.

I no longer think Alex is tied to Avery. He's coming to town to ask someone about a past relationship so I think that's about Noah/Adriana. RA tweeted about welcoming his old pal IS. Still no word on whose playing Adriana though which is odd.

I'm all for more Leslie but it sucks Neil is her only option and she's being pulled out the closet cause he needs a pairing. Instead of the predictable pairing Navery, I would've preferred Nick and Leslie.

IS played a cop on Lincoln Heights in the 1st season.

Hmm, this show is rather flat. Everything except Jill's return I could take or leave it in GC...

One thing that struck me though is that the wardrobe for La Stafford has become a lot less fancy. They used to put to her in dresses which looked wayyy more expensive than anyone elses. Is my asumption wrong? Maybe MS isn't the center of JFP's universe?
