Well when they started auditions for Kristina they weren't actually casting for Kristina. Just some random female character and decided halfway through to make the role Kristina. They are probably casting this as some random character then when they hear people asking if it's Tommy they moprh him into Tommy. GW already effed up majorly by giving the name TJ to Molly's teen bf.
