The location shoot is at a ship yard in LA they rented a tugboat.

Oh ya, I knew it had to be in SoCal somewhere . . . it's just always a bummer when location shoots are glaringly not where the show is set (the Pine Valley yacht club, anyone? lol). However, I shouldn't look a gift horse in the mouth, I'm one of those who's so over the moon with any soap location shoots, whether it's GL in New Jersey or those horrible car shots on AMC when Greenlee kidnapped Spike for 5 minutes.

I can never watch MB without laughing. I just can't. You remember that woman years ago who had a seizure whenever she heard Mary Hart's voice on the TV? That's the same reaction I have to Maurice except it's hysterical laughter. That promo had me laughing like I was watching The Daily Show.

Damn. This looks good. Sonny's been more toned down here lately. So, I can take him. Doesn't get on my nerves like he used too. And, I freaking loooooove the location shoot!

The show's problems aside, it is a good promo. It looks like General Hospital, pre-mob central, more adventure.

I did laugh when he called it "his city." It's a decent promo. At least ABC is putting some kind of promotion into GH's timeslot move.

They were trying really hard to make GH look like NCIS LA there. Not exactly enticing me to watch. They should've used their location shoot money to film outside a real hospital you know since this is supposed to be a hospital drama. Instead it's more of the merry band of played out men off on their adventures.

I think it's a good promo to introduce people to the show, but I don't understand why you have that hammy intro from Benard. "My city" indeed.

LOL. People in the comments section think the show won't make it without Steve Burton. I got news for those people. It was on almost 30 years without Quarterbrain. It made it then. And, it will still make it.

Unless they pulled old footage from the monkey virus sweeps, last week's promo shows them using the studio exterior as the hospital. I love it when they do that--when they cgi the top, it can be a hot mess, but I'm still super into it.

Since when is Jerry Sonny's enemy? What in the rewrite hell? I mean, yes, Jerry hates Sonny, but then again Jerry hates everyone but Alexis, Jax, and Josslyn.

I guess they couldn't use McBain or Todd but still.....

I think they should keep on Jerry on the show. He's one-note and at this point I don't even understand his motivation but it's probably the best chem for NLG and best Alexis pairing on the show.
