Of course I've known who AP is for years as a soap fan even if I never watched DOOL or ATWT, but I must say that I oddly enjoyed his skeeve porn director character on a show I did watch, OLTL. I think he's probably a bit of a neurotic kook IRL who just made the most of his genetic lottery winnings in previous roles and the OLTL part was his chance to really have some fun.

I will even give the Peck-sters credit...they've lasted longer than I ever thought possible. *whispers* although this reeks of a desperate-let's-have-a-baby-to-fix-our-relationship move. He mostly played a goof on ATWT and was popular for that.

The most interesting part of Peck's story is the one where he became born again while on DAYS and basically alienated everyone for a few years in his need to show them the way, etc. I guess that ended sometime before his marriage...

When ATWT left the air, the character of Katie Peretti Frasier Coleman Kasnoff Snyder Snyder Hughes was on her sixth marriage. Had the show continued, she would surely have beaten some of the great nuptialers of daytime....surely Lisa, possibly Erica Kane. Although some people couldn't STAND Katie, she was popular for two reasons... Terri's undeniable romantic chemistry with Paul Leyden's Simon and her comedic timing with long-time foil Henry Coleman, expertly played by Trent Dawson.

That being said, the adulterous duo of Colombino and Peck turned me off from the start. From what I understand, it deeply divided the ATWT cast as well, most of whom really liked Terri's wronged husband.

The fact is, Terri's marriage was failing before she ever met Austin for reasons I cannot legally say -- and this is the only thing I have inside info on alol. And even if it weren't, it's none of our business. And even then, "adulterous duo" makes you sound like a dinosaur jsyk.

Anyway, Terri deserves our congratulations. She got out of a marriage that none of us have ANY reason to judge and found true love. Good for her.
