If it appears that Adrienne Frantz (Amber, THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL) is on-screen less frequently in the coming months, it's with good reason: she is now on recurring status with the soap. "Adrienne has moved to recurring, allowing her to remain on B&B as Amber Moore and work on other projects," says a spokesperson for the show. Frantz was recently accepted into the professional program at the improv and comedy school attached to the famed Groundlings theater in Los Angeles.

They could easily do the same thing with more than 70% of the cast.

Very sad news.

I hope this doesn't mean she will get the same treatment as the rest of the recurring cast. I will miss Amber, they were finally getting her right and she disappeared, again.

She made more sense there IMO.

I thought half the cast was already on reoccuring anyway.

I was afraid this might happen with the way the completely wrapped the Eric/Amber story. AF was the most entertaining part of the spring - it was a nice contrast to the Trio drama.

For a while, but not by the last year or two. Too many ridiculous caper stories, and the rape story with Deacon was just trash.

Wait a sec -- AF is studying comedic acting? Why not take a step back and just study acting first?

I never thought that Amber fit on Y&R. Amber was always one of those outrageous trouble-making B&B characters in the mold of the young Brooke.

Most of the cast could be considered recurring. At least she's been on more than poor Winsor. I'm not even sure if Thorne's been let out of the basement this year. I just wish they'd use more of the cast. I like Hope but I find it ridicuouls that they are just using the same five actors all the time. Bill needs to put on a pantsuit and get a brooch since he's turned into Stephanie and I still have no cue what he has against Hope. The only thing I can think of would be her never trying to have sex with him.
