Granted, they don't quite have the same f-ed up quality as TNT, but the two baddies of Llanview hooking up? I'd say they count for sure.

Although my favorite, Max & Gabrielle, kind of have a guilty pleasure side to them as well. She DID try to smother his brother with a pillow.

Unfortunately, I cannot think offhand of one couple who fit those parameters. As I've said before, I've a tendency to root for pairings that clearly aren't endgame for anyone concerned. There was GL's Kyle and Reva, of course, and Beth and Lujack. And for characters who've had multiple high-profile pairings, such as AMC's Erica Kane, my theories on who their respective soulmates were or are (Mike Roy, followed closely by Brandon Kingsley, then Nick Davis) haven't always jibed with most everyone else's (Jackson Montgomery). But couples "who were wrong to get together, yet so right with one another"? I don't know. Maybe GL's Roger and Holly (given the fact that he raped her)?

There are those who suggest Powell was secretly attracted to Todd, which led to him slowly losing his mind and adopting more of Todd's behavior (in Powell's case, the serial rapes of nurses at Llanview Hospital).

ETA: Which I just realized would involve even more guilt, given that they turned out to be relatives.

Could it be argued, therefore, that Powell only went along with it, because he actually loved Todd and would have done anything to please him (even assault a girl to whom he never was sexually attracted)? Perhaps...and man, do I wish OLTL had gone there, too, now that I think about it.

As a matter of fact, the more I do think about it, the more I think I would have appreciated Todd more as a character had a romantic relationship with Powell been part of his grand, ultimate redemption.

Stefan and Alexis on GH until they made them blood relatives. ARGH I was annoyed.

Victor and Marty...I know many many many hated the Rapemance but I thought TSJ/SH were amazing together. And the story got me rebooked on OLTL.
