Members Dr Neil Curtis
aww sorta like the Todd Manning character. I seen some far worse actors on OLTL than them.
Members NothinButAttitude
I didn't hate them, I just did not care for them. Only one I liked was James and that was b/c I preferred ANYONE with Starr instead of that dreadful Cole Thornhart. I do think that the boys would've been suited better for roles tying them to the canvas instead of Ron, who I actually like as writer, trying to make a stamp in OLTL history. This family has to be up there with Santi family IMO -- just horrid and forced.
Members Dr Neil Curtis
A better choice to play the mother would have been good for them, tying them to the canvas via the Wolek family would have better choice. Off-topic again, was Dr. Wright and Darren Price tied to Phylicia Rashad's Courtney Wright and the previous Price family, respectively?

Members Cheap21
There was nothing to them. No layers, no substance, no value.... They were nothing but generic "hot guys" and exemplify what this thread is about. I dont get why OLTL tried so hard to make them happen when it clearly wasnt working
Members DRW50
I think a lot of it came down to the hoopla when Melting Ken Doll #1 poured water over his chest. People went wild over it. He also fit RC's and Frons' typical leading man profile - sleaze. The final gift to them was the great purge of late 2010, when so many actors were fired. It was a way for the show to bring in what ABC/Frons/FV/RC likely saw as the ideal new characters - mouthbreathing blandos.
Members Melroser
Two on OL that come to mind are: Melanie McIver: Colin's ex and Lindsay's sister. Potentially the character could have worked being thrown into the mix but it seemed they never gave her much purpose. Once Colin was killed there seemed no point. I think they could have done Catherine Hickland a better justice by giving her a sister for whom she could have played a lot of story off of. Paige: It's so bad I can't even remember her last name. This character was almost lost from the beginning when they had to recast Kimberlin Brown and went with that horrible blonde that was so bland! With Kimberlin the character really could have been fun going toe-to-toe with Spencer and her chemistry working with Tuc Watkins I thought was also fun to watch. But then it all went wrong.... I am a BIG Alex Neil fan (from way back on her Texas days as Ruby and even on AW later), but even with her playing the part I wasn't that interested in Paige anymore. It didn't work for me. Maybe if Alex Neil had started from the beginning I would have enjoyed the character more with a better chance of consistency and personally liking the actress. Members frequentsoapfan
I agree they were generic "hot guys" on front burner who I didn't even find hot.
Members AdelaideCate007
The thing I remember most about Paige is that it seemed like she lasted for years. It was like they just kept trying to make her happen but it never did. The last actress that played her was definitely the best of the three. Members Skin
Sadly enough Jessica and Natalie in the end as well on OLTL died out from overuse. They could have at least used a break. I never understood having them both front and center for so long. It's not as if their brothers didn't take breaks in the form of Kevin and Joey. Jessica and Natalie towards the end were completely at a loss and they should have been written out or given a prolonged break period, especially Jessica. Members RomeAt50
Keeping Marissa around was pointless. Marissa/Bianca were better than JR/Marissa but they were still kind of awkward and sexless when they got together. I think they said they didn't cast a new character for Bianca because it would have been too obvious they were meant for her but you don't always need to be surprised by a romance and a lot of people figured out where they were going with Marissa and Bianca early on anyways. Members P.J.
I'd agree with the way LK lingered around town after Jake's death. By the time she jumped ship to GH, Molly was a tedious, clingy slut. But her return for the last year of ATWT was pretty good. BTW, GL's Natalia and her unibrow kid (who's name I can't remember) own this category. They were only relevant until Gus died. After that, they were annoying airhogs. Otalia be damned...JL's one-note performances only made CC's scenery chewing more over-the-top. IMO.
Members Soapsuds
Her return reminded me of Holden's return in 97...a breath of fresh air. Another one was the once Mrs. Boynton....Julie Wendall....once the whole Holden/Julie one night stand hit the fan/Aaron is their son..her character became stale....not really needed.
