Members ChitHappens
Idiot GH actors are dancing in the streets near the studio as they thank Cartini for "keeping the show on the air". Dumb ass suck ups! ANDREA
Members AllMyDaysatGH
I'm so glad GH has been renewed but I'm not looking forward to watching more of Ron & Frank's poorly written and (especially) produced take on the show. They are beyond awful and I'm so annoyed that they are being credited for the shows renewal; A complete joke IMO!
Members VirginiaHamilton
We certainly will have to agree to disagree here because 'challenges' is putting it far too mildly for the fuckery that Guza penned (I didn't watch Wolf, but from what I've read, his vision for GH was no picnic). As for OLTL being third rate? That's rich, considering that Guza succeeded at turning GH into a quarter-water version of The Sopranos.
Members ChitHappens
It's really not good news for GH or its fans! We go from Guza to Wolf to Cartini? This merciless chit is for the dogs! Inmates have better luck! Is God taking a nap? ANDREA
Members SweetPea36
I doubt Cartini had much of anything to do with the reprieve. There is loud rumbling coming from the unhappy ABC affiliates because of the network's decisions about daytime. The Revolution has been thrown into the volcano to satisfy the affiliate gods for now. Members frequentsoapfan
@NancyLeeGrahn How'd we get so lucky! How long is the renewal contract for? @24CarlyS119 no contract.. we're hoping for a long run
Members AMCHistory
TVGuide.com had the headline on the main page with a picture of ... Michael Easton. Easton, the most junior contract cast member on air. I guess there is no longer any doubt who ABC Daytime's PR department will be pimping.
Members DRW50
And he looks as bored as ever. No contract? That means they could go off anytime. Yikes. I think this is mostly just padding until Katie is on the air. They are also likely assuming a "lighter GMA" (what does that mean? Is GMA now Bleak House?) will be a hit for them. Members Khan
To me, GMA has been "Bleak House" for YEARS.
Members marceline
As the only ME fan on this board, this cracks me the hell up! But even though I love my guy (not enough to watch however) I think that picture should've been of Finola. I think that would've sent a better message plus it would fool old GH fans into thinking that their show was still intact. He does, doesn't he? It's like you can see him mentally cashing his paycheck. LMAO!
Members ChitHappens
A damn picture of Michael Easton in conjuction with the story of GH being "renewed"?! I'm about to vomit! ANDREA
Members juppiter
It has always been that way though, at least as long as ABC has owned the show. Since they produce the show and all the cast & crew are ABC employees there is no need for a contract between ABC and the show itself.
Members DRW50
I don't mind the ME photo. At least they're honest, and he has been popular in his appearances so far (although not in ratings). I'd rather see that than PodAnna, the woman who shuns her granddaughter to spend time with a child killer.
