April 9, 201213 yr Member Oh, the issue with FL was her covering for Tea's "death." I had forgotten all about that brouhaha. I never had an opinion on that one way or the other. I wonder where all the money is coming from to pay these ex-OLTL actors and to put FH on contract. I can believe that they are making minimum salaries, but GH has got to be cutting back somewhere beyond the salary cuts for the current cast. Perhaps, they are culling the crew and the shooting schedule. They have fired alot off crew memembers in favore of Oltl crew members already
April 9, 201213 yr Member They have fired alot off crew memembers in favore of Oltl crew members already What type of roles. I cannot imagine ABC footing the bill for the NYC to LA move.
April 9, 201213 yr Member Looking back at that I end up feeling sorry for FL and VI, as there was no real way to handle that type of gimmick. . Yeah, but when it was over VI told his fans the truth, she didn't. But to each their own. Playing good soldier appears to have worked in her favor here so good luck to her.
April 9, 201213 yr Member As happy as I am for FL's fans, I do find it kind of alarming to see this influx of former OLTL actors, even for the purpose of wrapping up one storyline. I recall to this day what happened when AS THE WORLD TURNS tried incorporating actors from ANOTHER WORLD. It made for a show that was jarring, to say the least. Frankly, GH was better off hiring FL to play a new character, perhaps a new doctor at the hospital who goes toe-to-toe with Monica? Edited April 9, 201213 yr by Khan
April 9, 201213 yr Member What type of roles. I cannot imagine ABC footing the bill for the NYC to LA move. They have replaced editors, wardrobe, and makeup personnel in addition to the writers but writers as we know can work from anywhere.
April 9, 201213 yr Author Member Frankly, GH was better off hiring FL to play a new character, perhaps a new doctor at the hospital who goes toe-to-toe with Monica? Unfortunatley I think that would be jarring with Todd, John and Starr on. Not that it couldnt or hasnt happened but you know what I mean

April 9, 201213 yr Member Unfortunatley I think that would be jarring with Todd, John and Starr on. Not that it couldnt or hasnt happened but you know what I mean At the very least, it would give Ron a chance to do some lame, "Gee, YOU look familiar!" scene, but I do know what I mean.

They must be hiring younger less experienced personnel as a way to save money. Edited April 9, 201213 yr by Ann_SS
April 9, 201213 yr Member Replaced? Or reduced the number of...? They must be hiring younger less experienced personnel as a way to save money. I could understand replacing writers with GH writers, because like you said they work any where and everywhere. But I am shocked to learn that the ground-floor crew at GH is being replaced by OLTL crew. I would think there union issues and high-relocation costs associated with that.
April 9, 201213 yr Member YES to Tea coming on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Even if it's only a short stay.
April 10, 201213 yr Member Replaced? Or reduced the number of...? They must be hiring younger less experienced personnel as a way to save money. Replaced with OLTL crew members. They even replaced the music director with the OLTL music director.
April 10, 201213 yr Member Source: http://soaps.sheknows.com/generalhospital/news/id/24471/ ABC has confirmed that Florencia Lozano will reprise her "One Life to Live" role of Tea Delgado on "General Hospital" beginning the week of May 7.
April 10, 201213 yr Member I wonder if her main reason for coming would be her representing Starr in her trial against Sonny, which would pit her against Alexis. I could see that happening. Yes she was. She got pregnant in August, so she should be due next month, if I'm doing the math correctly. Why would Starr need a lawyer? Is Starr going to sue for wrongful death? Otherwise it is a District Attorney representing the State's case against Sonny. Starr would be called as a witness but she wouldn't need a lawyer. I assumed Tea is coming on to wrap up Todd's lingering story with going on trail for Victor's murder since Howarth is coming back on contract so they obviously need to deal with that somehow.
