The episode was great! I loved Genieveive's scheme and how she was able to snag a fiancée so quick. LOL at this bitch thinking she could fool the man into thinking she were 39. Zoila throwing her shade was funny. I was kind of grossed out at the guy wanting Valentina's egg

The Carmen and Odessa material was pretty good. Very good developments

Yay, Taylor's back. I missed her. I actually felt bad for Olivia. I forgot that Marysol told her that her ex was still in love with her

Rosie wasn't as annoying this episode. When she saw the combination was B-A...I thought it was going to be B-A-B-Y

 I was just coming in here to ask if anyone else thinks Alejandro's an ass... because he sure acts like it! And what's with the stoner eyes? I thought that this was why he reacted like he didn't care. Guess he just... didn't care? They never really gave an explanation. But Odessa/Carmen is very sweet. The opening scene was hilarious.

Lucci got to play some sadness today and it was great. They resolved this egg storyline much better than I thought they would and it's nice that Genevieve is finally taking an interest in Remi. But I'm sure she'll go back to her crazy self in no time.

All the twists and turns with Rosie/Evelyn were great. How terrifying that Rosie owes a favor to that perv now.

And I'm liking the way they're developing the Flora mystery.

I had high hopes for Rosie based on the first episode. I thought her story would be about her as a mother and her quest to bring her son to the US. The Spence affair surprised me. I have a hard time feeling sorry for Rosie though. You mess around with a married man, and it's not likely to end will.

Alejandro's "secret" wasn't all that juicy. I kind of wondered whether that was a possibility, and IDK why Carmen acted so shocked.

The stuff with Olivia... that was hard to watch, but you kind of saw it coming. I have to wonder if Marisol will feel any remorse for the role she played in that, or if it's all single-minded with her to save Eddie no matter who gets hurt. It's interesting to me how the characters who seemed really sympathetic at the beginning are now shown in a far less flattering light and vice versa.

I also understand not airing a new episode on Labor Day weekend when people might not be home, but I'm bitter that I have to wait two weeks for a new show.

I just saw last week's episode and I love that set. Odessa and Carmen as frenemies has been great and I love how Carmen has been growing. It was lame that Alejandro didn't have an excuse for his attitude. I thought he was going to reveal that his mother or another loved one died of cancer so he shut down and tried to keep his distance from her bc it brought up bad memories

SHOCKED! When Carmen and Alejandro were having their moment, I was thinking, I totally ship them and then the bf walks in. Looks like my gaydar is not working

FINALLY Genevieve is branching out and interacting with the other characters on the show. She was so isolated before

Loving Peri. She really is trying to make a change. Good for her. Too bad her ho-bag maid is screwing her husband.

Oh shut up slut. You don't have a right to be upset. Go on and slink out of there back to the gutter you came from

With the way Taylor is so loud about wanting to spread her good news, I have a feeling she's going to miscarry. It seems so obvious.

The minute it was mentioned that the son was a drug dealer, I had a feeling Remy was his client.

Given how she killed herself over Taylor being pregnant and Michael not loving her anymore, yes, I could see her going after Flora if she thought Michael was the father. I suspected a woman as a possible killer simply because Flora stumbled out of the room and all the way to the pool, which to me indicates that the killer may not have had the physical strength to finish her off if she was fighting back. I wonder if there's a DVD of Michael and Flora together doing something other than talking about her pregnancy.

Most shows seem loathe to destroy one of their main 'good' characters by making that person a murderer, so that also makes me think the killer was a minor character like Eddie's drug dealer friend or Oliva the now dead ex-wife or Philippe, Remy's father, or perhaps Peri's lover - the actor/co-star she was seeing. We haven't seen him in a while.

    • 1976 Pt 7 Brad tells Snapper he’s almost blind now and can’t  keep Leslie from finding out,so he’s leaving her today, right after her benefit concert. During the performance Brad slips out and goes home to pack, leaving a letter for Leslie telling her to continue with her concert work and to trust him when he says this is the way things have to be but it has nothing to do with  her. Figuring he’d do something like this, Laurie follows him, and agrees to let him leave only if he'll let  her help him. She takes him to her apartment. Leslie arrives home to find Brad’s things gone and his letter waiting. She tells the family he’s gone to be with his sick mother and spends the next days reading and rereading his letter, not eating, not sleeping, and in tortured despair. Finally, realizing she has to get out, she goes to the Allegro, where she runs into Lance. He insists on driving her out to the lake house, where she collapses in the living room. While she’s unconscious, Vanessa tends to her, and when she comes to Lance insists on taking her to Snapper for an examination immediately. The next day Snapper tells Les that his suspicions have been confirmed she’ s pregnant. Lance continues to be attentive to her, and Leslie can’t help but respond out of loneliness, but, thinking of her pregnancy, Les asks that he not try to see her. Laurie, meanwhile, has. taken Brad to San Francisco for further tests, but again there is no ascertainable reason for his blindness. Lance and Laurie are fencing with each other again—she won’t explain why 'she went to San Francisco with a friend and he won't tell her who is living with him at the lake. Vanessa, watching Lance and Laurie through her window: vows that Laurie will never get him... never. Joanne now has a new confidence in herself and her future and tells Jack she'll get a divorce. Jack replies that he’s not sure now whether Peggy even wants him any more. Joanne visits Peggy, saying that Peggy must now reassure Jack, as he feels responsible for what she’s gone through. Ron’s attorney, learning from him that Peggy saw himbefore the lineup, petitions to have Peggy’s identification thrown out of court. They will claim undue influence. Ron’s convinced he’ll win. But at the hearing the judge determines that, while Chris had talked to Peggy about Ron, she never described him to her, and that by introducing himself to Peggy willingly, Ron himself created the situation. The petition is therefore denied. Ron furiously tells Nancy he was wronged, that the Brookes’ money and influence in town robbed him of a fair break. Nancy is badly shaken when she finds a paper with Chris’s correct address in Ron’s pocket, as he insisted he had the wrong address. When she confronts him, Ron explains that Chris later gave him the correct address, which he wrote down and kept, throwing away the incorrect one. Nancy dismisses her doubts. The night before the trial is to start, Ron tells Nancy she’s to divorce him if he’s convicted. This upsets Nancy so badly that she goes to the Brookses’ home to implore Peggy not to do this to them, not to take her little girl’s daddy from her. Meanwhile, at their apartment, Ron is remembering how he waited for Chris on that day and then found that it was Peggy he had raped. Momentarily, before the trial the next morning, Peggy, thinking about Nancy’s visit, expresses a doubt about the identity of her assailant, but then the whole thing flashes across her mind and she sees his face. She’s sure now. Laurie worries that Brad’s walking out on her might cause Leslie to break again. Brad assures Laurie that Leslie is a strong woman now, and Les’s ‘success on her next concert proves him right. She leaves for her South American tour, and Brad, planning to study braille and prepare himself for his new life, decides to ask her for a divorce upon her return. ‘Laurie warns him that Leslie won’t consider it without seeing him first.
    • If I'm not mistaken, Lisa Peluso's last episode was around Christmas 1985... and the very last scene was Bela at her door before the next episode or so later reveals that Wendy just vanished into thin air.   And there was a scene from the killers POV where they crossed off Sarah's pic and circled Wendy's pic.  So it was up in the air if she skipped town, or if she was killed off. Did the show ever resolve what happened to Wendy, or was that an unresolved thread?

    • LOL!! Kat seems to be a better at putting things together than the actual police.  She's definitely more interesting like this compared to her real job, whatever it is.  Those Eva/Tomas could've been so much better with a better actor because their discussion about parents was pretty good.
    • Thanks, Ron.  So Friday was his last time with the BDWs.
    • -- Weirdest red carpet ever at the Nurses' Ball. Every conversation was filled with snark and shade or outright insults, and we even got an on-camera arrest of Tracy -- while Congressman Drew (who's never in DC) stood there. I guess it was more interesting than the usual. -- Why did Gio walk the carpet with Joss? -- Sonny is usually escaping mobsters who want to kill him. So of course he accompanies his granddaughter on the carpet. On camera.
