Powell killed Talia when he returned as the "Llanview Slasher" he stabbed to death Janet Ketring, Wes Granger, and Talia in a attempt to frame Todd

Quite a brilliant story, wasn't it? Let's kill a bunch of people who are non-characters or have zero ties to Todd. I think the excuse they used for Talia's murder was that it was supposed to throw John. Given that I doubt John would change a facial expression if his entire family went up in smoke, it made no sense to me.

Janet was Marty's nurse when she returned

If I recall correctly, she wasnt even in town when this story was going on but came back specifically to get killed off. It made no sense to me back then. Its the same thing they did with Pamela

Ah, yes, thanks for the reminder.

Yeah, not a fan of bringing back "classic" characters and trashing them or killing them or otherwise wasting them like Lee or Pamela. Similarly, I dislike making everyone related. Alex inexplicably being Cutter and Jared's mother was more than enough, and if what Vee was saying and others were hypothesizing was true, I'm glad JL didn't come back only to be tied to someone like Aubrey. I think things like that come across as immature, fan-fictiony writing, and it cheapens the classic characters attaching them to less developed, flash in the pan types.

That did not look as funny when I first saw it, but it is hilarious now.

Alex is Jared's mother too?

Typo, Kim!tongue.png I mentioned Pamela which made me think of Jarhead.

Cutter and Jared look alike.

They really do! Hell, Brody kinda looks like them, too. If the multiple quotient on this show hadn't been exhausted already, I probably would have gone whole hog and made them triplets!
