January 26, 200620 yr Member WOW GREAT NUMBERS DAYS!!!! As for that FRiday show, nothing really happened except the Highstyle reveal and that happened right at the end. I really hope its not bad for next week but I do think Days will drop like a tenth in HH next week because this week was good but nothing attention getting (except for the performances of course). Its ok though because if Days is between 2.7-2.9 going into February it will be a good sign given what February will be. As for Passions, I just hope they stay around 1.9 so that when something happens they can boost to 2.0. They really have been solid of late but nothing really to raise ratings. I did think they would jump up a little more because of Days though. I can't wait to see the full demos and total viewers. Days is doing very well right now and I still love that 3.5.
January 26, 200620 yr Member Oh my god..............someone tell me my eyes are not deceiving me!!!!! 3.5!?!??!! Are those...RIGHT!? But DAYS still didn't break 3.0 in HH's for the week....did they?
January 26, 200620 yr Member WOW, nice to see DAYS do so well for at least one day! DAYS going up in the demos again is also great to see, only tied with Y&R now. A month ago DAYS was stuck at 1.8/1.9. Friday only having a 2.6? Thats a huge difference from Monday, probably over 1 million in the same week.
January 26, 200620 yr Member DAYS needs to win Feb Sweeps, it will put them in SUCH a good position in March if they can JUST WIN Feb Sweeps!!
January 26, 200620 yr Member I predict DAYS will be back to 2.6 in 2 or 3 weeks time! I'm not watching, but by all accounts, JER is screwing up the Zack death SL. Until Matt Ashford is back, I couldn't give a [!@#$%^&*] about anything to do with DAYS! Congratulations to B&B - that soap rocks right now! I'd love it if they beat Y&R one day!
January 26, 200620 yr Member Nice to see DAYS continue to grow in the men's demos, 22% of DAYS viewers are male, almost 1 in 4(according to these Neilson numbers at least). For all soaps... % of male viewers(I did these off memory going down the list without writing or typing these out but I am sure they are right) PSNS 22% DAYS 22% Y&R 21% B&B 20% GL 19% AMC 18% ATWT 18% OLTL 14% GH 14% I wonder why OLTL and especially GH is so low in this demo, GH seems to do well in almost every demo, but not with the males.
January 26, 200620 yr Member I'm extremely disappointed that Passions dropped in total viewers and pretty much in all the significant demo's. I was so hoping that it would have done so much better with its renewal coming up. On another note, I'm really happy for DAYS.
January 27, 200620 yr Member I'm not watching, but by all accounts, JER is screwing up the Zack death SL. Yeah. You're definitely not watching.
January 27, 200620 yr Member i don't see how people can be saying JER is ruining Zack's death..We've got so many great performances out of it..We've seen a lot of the vets being featured...Lexie and Abe played a big part, and hopefully will get more material soon...Also the story is moving quickly and won't be dragged out..I really couldn't take them all keeping this secret from Hope for too much longer.. I just want to see a funeral for zack, with most of the cast present...
January 27, 200620 yr Member Nice to see ABC finally LAST in something. 18-34 demo, dead last. NBC & CBS beat ABC. Funny, ABC's press release doesn't even talk about 18-34 demos this week. ABC's press release also looks smaller than normal. Hmmm.
January 27, 200620 yr Member Yeah. You're definitely not watching. I have to agree with you Mike. So far everything has been done just RIGHT with this SL. Almost as if it is one of his "PLANNED" storylines which gets me excited... those planned out ones usually work out beautifully with a good pay off and good "in between" occurences. This SL hasn't dragged and it hasn't moved too quickly. And the seeds were there, which is even more amazing. Considering all the foreshadowing we had with Hope and Zach back in early December, this SL was definitely planned out and is working out beautifully IMO. Also the show hasn't fallen into the "Post-Big-Occurence" Slump Yet. It is seemingly setting up big occurences for when others slow down...like what happened this week with Austin and Carrie's Company and what is seemingly going to happen next week with Hope, Kate and Bonnie etc. Sucks that DAYS couldn't be pushed into the 3.0 territory but ratings are seemingly pointless anyways. Friday's episode of DAYS was really sluggish one, I remember sleeping through the cliffhanger which I believe was one of the first without the Zach storyline, it was when Carrie learned that Austin stole her company. This week moved to a better stage though...
January 27, 200620 yr Member and with tommorows show Days finally throws a twist into the Alex, Marlena, John, Lois storyline...I actually will stop fastforwarding that storyline now....

This week moved to a better stage though... I agree-last Friday's episode was somewhat sluggish but this week picked up again. Its ok to have an off show once in a while. This story has been great and I agree it is well planned out along with all the other stories so that we get something good happening every week. JER always does well with planned stories. I really don't think Days will slump this time-it seems like they have a good plan and the only thing that will ruin it is cast changes. I wouldn't worry Kev, KR, and RBSoapfan-the poster who mentioned the story being bad and that said Days would drop soon is just one that is unhappy with the Matt Ashford stuff going on (which has become a widespread overreaction IMO) and doesn't really care too much about JER. I have seen very little negwtive comments outside of JER haters and fickle people (some anit-Days and JER people have liked this story though). Its ok-we will all enjoy it together with everyone else who is liking it . and with tommorows show Days finally throws a twist into the Alex, Marlena, John, Lois storyline...I actually will stop fastforwarding that storyline now.... Yeah I can't wait. I am one of the few who has actually enjoyed the story thus far but the twist coming up will really make it worth watching for many people.
