I always hated hated hated the "Taylor has to have sex with James so he won't die a virgin" story on B&B.

I have to agree with soapfan. The Jennifer/Craig hook-up was totally out-of-character, plot-driven nonsense. However, it did lead to one of ATWT's last great storylines, the Jennifer/Gwen baby switch....so all is forgiven.

The FauxLily/Teen Mike Kasnoff romp however is totally indefensible.

On Coronation Street, Tracy Barlow, the world's most ridiculous self-parody seduced brothers David Platt and Nick Tilsley (not at the same time). Why? Well, I have no idea, other than she must have been desperate. This led to a story where she told everyone about it in the local pub, was bashed over the head after she left, and for about ten seconds several members of the family were suspects (none of them were the culprit). Just stupid trash, an imitation of a bad primetime soap. I can't help wondering if the show planned a "who the daddy" story that got killed.

Plus it was pretty sick, Jennifer had been fighting with Mike and Barbara and Craig was thinking about Bryant. I'd forgot about Lily and Mike, wow ugh. Same goes with the Holden/Carly crapola that same summer.

I mentioned Devon/Tyra earlier but Y&R has a had a plethora of dumb one night stands in recent years like Chance/Heather or Ryder/Jana for pointless plot-driven moments.

I think Babe sleeping with Jaime the first night she was in town was dumb. The reason was just so stupid. It would have been better for story purposes if Babe and Jaime first slept together when they were on the run in early 05'.
