If I ever doubted how little interest the show has in Shane as a character, I couldn't after they tell us the man who cares about him is a psycho and the man who doesn't give a rat's a$$, Rex, is a hero.

Aside from Kim/Clint it doesn't seem like the show has any interesting stories outside of Rapists R Us.

Well Strassers 1987 exit had to do with her not getting along with Paul Rauch at the time. Plus she really wanted to leave and explore other opportunites and move to California. She was off for about six years during that time period. In 2000 Strasser's exit was very forced and she was off due to her feud with JFP which got nasty/ugly. Robin was blacklisted for three years at ABC daytime. Honestly I despise Frons and hate him more then anything but he allowed her to return to ABC daytime in 2003. Angela Shapiro had blacklisted her for three years at ABC. Robin loves Frank Valentini.
