Small victories I guess at this point, right?

Oh god, I hope not. My guess is the baby reveal and Angie regaining her sight will all happen the same episode. Then, Angie will be so blinded by the excitement over getting her sight back, she'll wave her finger in Jesse's face for a segment or two, and then somehow forgive him.

Whenever I think of their story as we inch towards the end, my brain goes to that "One Year Later" thing they did in the GL finale. There just simply isn't enough time to realistically heal all that hurt. And yet I know if the show hadn't been picked up by PP, they would have moved heaven and earth to give Jesse and Angie a happy ending. I wonder if that's changed, as I tend to agree with Khan that it will go unresolved on ABC and Angie will go away for a while (DM on Y&R). Hell, Jesse may go away for a while too or take a recurring-like function as COP because they wouldn't dream of putting him in another romantic relationship at this point.

It probably would've been smart to have Dixie remembering giving cancer-stricken JR the will to live...but then again, I probably wouldn't want to remember I once walked around looking like Strawberry Shortcake either.

Here's my bet: that story will remain unresolved when AMC goes off-network. And when we do pick it up again online? Angie will be long gone (and Jesse will tell Tad she called him to say she is too angry to come home now, or anytime soon).

I don't have a problem with this if Angie is allowed to be as angry as she deserves to be and to express that anger.

If Debbie can hang out with Peter Bergman on Y&R then I see no reason Darnell can't get some quality time with Taylor Miller or Laura Koffmann.

I love J&A but I look forward to seeing the actors work with new people.

I'm glad David shut Ryan down.

Me too. I'm just glad Ryan found out where David's project is headquartered so hopefully we can get these returns sped up and everything explained before the last week, which I'm still optimistic will be more about reunions and family than sci-fi resurrections!

Yea that Madison/JR kiss getting removed really f-ed up yesterday's really bad. I'd like to think they'll have their heads screwed on a little tighter as the end draws closer, even if PP makes them change the ending since they have advance warning of that now.

Yeah but there was no reason to take them to Paris. I guess for nostalgic purposes but STILL.

I'm sure there would've been a JR/Madison/Scott triangle before the cancellation notice. Maybe it will still happen online.

Paris was always special for Jack & Erica. Even after the French maid encounter, they used to mention celebrating Bastille Day together every year (until the early 1990s anyway).

I feel like one or two back from the dead appearances every few years isn't that odd but grouping them all under one heading...yeah, it just seems like it's a bit much. Dixie's come back from the dead a few times and Zach I can buy since his body was never found...but when you start pulling every which character you can think of from the last 10 years that was on for more than two consecutive years under that blanket...Leo, Gillian, Babe, not to mention Mike Roy...to quote my favorite movie of all time: "It's what we call over-kill. It's what we call psychotic."

To play devil's advocate, so far Leo was only in a dream and it's likely Gillian will be too since Laura has her heart. I also think Broderick & Nixon carefully chose who to bring back instead of just a random assortment of characters. Now, we'll see if Babe is alive and if she can help JR stop drinking any more than Dixie can. The only one I find questionable is Mike Roy, but I'm willing to sit back and see what they have planned for him & Erica before I start griping.

I love Tad but he has made a gazillion mistakes with JR. Tad is a Carey supporter before JR usually, too. Dixie today just did what a mother does, especially one who has not been around for a while-went to her child who is clearly in pain. That is not coddling. Now I agree JR needs to get a grip and perhaps hit bottom but no one in his life except maybe Stuart has really done JR right consistently.

Yeah, it is annoying how Tad pretends he's been JR's constant supporter when he's thrown him under the Carey bus repeatedly!

The cliffhanger was fantastic! Looking forward to Monday to see what happens next!

Kendall & Cara have a nice bond and I loved their scenes

Dixie & JR's scenes were really good, the best since Dixie's been back.

ICAM! I'm psyched for Monday once again, the 3rd great Friday cliffhanger in a row, imo. I also thought the Kendall/Cara scenes were a close second to the Dixie/Tad/JR ones.

I dont give a damn about Zach. He should have got the dream reunion sequence with Kendall like Greens got with Leo

I was thinking the same thing. It's frustrating to see him "die" and then be brought back so quickly. I was practically screaming "let him go, David!" at the TV.

I like Maya and Mookie (a lot more than I like Colby) and I hope they make it to Prospect Park. I'm also hoping Mookie is the product of a one night stand Jesse had in New York while on the run.

I hope Mookie dies soon or goes to jail, but I really like Maya and hope she makes the move.

I like Maya, too and hope she makes the move. She can be in any number of orbits. Maybe a young mistake of Grif's! :)

If Babe is alive. I hope she dies again. I feel like this show is gearing up to end with a death or two. If it's David, the irony would be amazing.

^LOL, I don't think David will die. I think AMC is setting it up to have him and Erica as Co-Owners of a very new, very state of the art PVH...site unseen if neither make the move, or there to spar and cause lots of drama should they continue.

I do agree though, I think some deaths are bound to happen. Hopefully Babe is one.

If anyone dies after this show has spent its last few weeks attempting to resurrect half of the town, it would be absolutely anti-climactic. Not to mention cheap as hell.

  • Member

LOL, Erica pretty much said that same thing. What did it matter if David's patient died, he'd just bring him or her right back.laugh.png
