I think it's a mistake to write out Vivian with her kid around. At least keep her around, orbiting a bit.

As tired as I am of Crystal Chappell and her RL bullshit, I also think she could have done a lot more with good writing and stories. I think that is a waste.

If I had to keep one of Melanie's parents, I'd absolutely keep Carly. She's a much richer character than Daniel (who's become pleasant to me, but not compelling), and after the mess they've made of her, the story of her putting her life together sort of writes itself.

Austin Peck is a horrible actor and played Austin like a dumbass. I think you will enjoy him much more with Muldoon in the role.

I preferred Muldoon in the role. Austin is probably too busy with OLTL. That is why they asked Muldoon.

WOW, very surprised they're bringing back Patrick Muldoon instead of Austin Peck. Yes, Muldoon is a better actor, but Peck is more identified in the role I believe. I hope he doesn't look all rough 'n weathered a la Jack Wagner.

Patrick Muldoon is not exactly fine acting, but he could at least be more intriguing than Austin Peck. I liked the couple back in the day as a kid but I don't see the point of their being back on contract, at least not together.

And yeah, Galen Gering can go any time. It baffled me that the show turned its back on Sami with Lucas and EJ, a triangle that if done properly (which they didn't, starting with the rape) could have gone on decades.

Galen needs to get his pink slip. Cant stand him.

I wouldnt say he's fugly but he's not leading man material, as they've been pushing him. As for a recast, Id have Greg Vaughan playing Lucas. Colin Egglesfield would also make a good Lucas

Recast Lucas? You crazy! LOL Why throw out 18 years of history? And the Sami/Lucas flashbacks from their early years is a gold mine. Plus, Lucas isn't suppose to be a "hunk."
