I was told last night that big and exciting news would be announced in the next two weeks in regards of Prospect Park. Nothing specific was said, just that it was good news for the company. I'm not totally sure at the moment if the actors being told to leave ABC's studio is tied to these reports of lacking any/all funding for Prospect Park in general or if it is just a side to the overall plan. I do know that there are big meetings taking place at PP at this very moment and I'm waiting to hear from someone there in regards to these reports.

Sure they're not just yanking your chain Errol? LOL

They very well could be. There's always the chance that this "announcement" could be tied to the expected funding and if the funding did fall through, then everything's screwed. I'm still checking into it and just waiting back to hear some things.

Yes, I've heard the rumblings about Prospect Park not moving forward with #OLTL. Nothing to confirm yet, but I've been saying it for ages.

Prospect Park has been VERY public about not having financing in place. Without financing, nothing else mattered.

From day 1, I've questioned where the money would come from, and there's been nothing since to quell my fears/suspicions.

Of course, I was crucified left and right for raising these issues/questions.

It's funny, earlier today people took this FB post from Shenell Edmonds that either she wasnt going to OLTL/PP as reported or OLTL/PP wasnt happening, makes me wonder now with this rumored info.

Shenell Edmonds (destiny OLTL) posted the following message on Twitter an hour ago:Tomorrow is my last day on OLTL with the most amazing cast and crew I have ever worked with! I am so grateful the time I have had with them!

Or it could mean that she was referring to the ABC version of the show. It's hard to decipher comments as ABC is adamant that OLTL is ending with its ABC run and AMC ended with its ABC run and direct their stars to say as such publicly.

Oh I def agree with you Errol, it's just the irony is eerie imo

To think that I had come to terms with OLTL's demise, a week before Prospect Park news came along.

I'm just gonna go through these last weeks as if OLTL is ending for good, so that I won't be disappointed if it never comes through.

I'm so sick of all this speculation, I wish they would just speak up and stop letting all these rumors run rampant.

Oh good heavens now Richard from SID is playing the martyr? Hes worse than Jamey

No one's worse than Jamey, expect maybe Nellie LOL. To Richard's credit, he is right, he's always been skeptical of the PP stuff pretty much all along and got called every name under the sun for it

It's hard to keep track of all the martyrs, really.
