Royal Pains is doing some shooting here in Long Beach Long Island. Would love if OLTL did some shooting here.

Oh cool! I agree it would be cool if OLTL would do some shooting out there. I really can't think of what town could pass for Llanview though.

I had no idea PP was affiliated with Royal Pains. For some reason I thought they were just starting out. Now I'm really starting to feel this may actually work.

Ratings for recently introduced ABC daytime talker The Chew have settled in, according to Nielsen Media Research. And that means, of course, that the network should have well enough alone and kept long running serialized drama All My Children on the air.

Based on the Live Plus Same Day ratings for the week of Oct. 10, The Chew averaged 1.86 million viewers, with a 0.9 rating/6 share among target women 25-54. Both benchmarks were up slightly from one week earlier, while ratings among women 18-49 and women 18-34 were flat. Compared to All My Children on the year-ago week (Oct. 11-15, 2010), erosion remained in the double-digit percentages as follows:

Week of 10/11/10 – All My Children (ABC)

Viewers: 2.41 million, Women 25-54: 1.3/ 8 Women 18-49: 0.9/ 6, Women 18-34: 0.6/ 4

Week of 10/10/11 – The Chew (ABC)

Viewers: 1.86 million, Women 25-54: 0.9/ 6, Women 18-49: 0.6/ 4, Women 18-34: 0.4/ 3

Percent Change: Viewers: -23, Women 25-54: -31, Women 18-49: -33, Women 18-34: -33

Three weeks to-date, the weekly track for The Chew appears as follows:

The Chew (ABC)

Week of 9/26/11:

Viewers: 2.10 million, Women 25-54: 1.0/ 6, Women 18-49: 0.7/ 5,

Women 18-34: 0.5/ 3

Week of 10/03/11:

Viewers: 1.78 million, Women 25-54: 0.8/ 5, Women 18-49: 0.6/ 4,

Women 18-34: 0.4/ 3

Week of 10/10/11:

Viewers: 1.86 million, Women 25-54: 0.9/ 6, Women 18-49: 0.6/ 4,

Women 18-34: 0.4/ 3

I mixed it up with White Collar with Royal Pains when I was looking up studios. I'm not seeing a specific spot for it except the very non-L.I.C. based Oyster Bay. But if it does tape at a L.I.C. studio as one of the magazines pointed out, I'm pretty sure that leaves just Silvercup and Kaufman.

Has Abc told us OLTL's last airdate yet. Ive heard both 1/13 and 1/20

PP has just said Jan 2012 as start date that could mean Jan 30th

I'm shocked Terri Conn said no. Granted she is young and has never attempted to work outside of daytime, but I expected her to say yes.

I am not surprised by TC's decision. It matches something TSJ said about being time to find outside work. I think most soap actors must face there's no long-term security anymore in soaps and they need to branch out.

Well blah to all the naysayers who insisted SL was not talented enough to get any work. Good for her.

+1

I'm looking forward to seeing SuLu play other characters.
