I disagree. It was a huge lost opportunity for PP not to air commercials during the finale week... check this website for FUTURE episodes of AMC coming soon in January.

Heck, I know OLTL fans who somehow felt BOTH shows were ending today... the lack of an actual website with some PR info is shockingly short-sighted.

I chuckled at Michael Knight saying he thought AMC was the red-headed stepchild in ABC's stable, given that a lot of people think OLTL was. But it seems the move to L.A. was rather traumatic for a lot of people, so maybe they saw it as a bad thing in the end moreso than a lot of fans did.

I think the reality is that it isn't so much about which show is the "stepchild" as GH has always been the "favorite child." GH has always gotten the money. The OLTL stepchild belief seems to stem from a perceived lack of promotion. I don't think that's on ABC. It's just that AMC has Susan Lucci and SuLu is a pop cultural entity in her own right. AMC has benefited from that.

But there's nothing to market. There's no new show to sell. Just promises.

IA about that. I just don't know why these folks don't have some kind of information only website or even a facebook page. ABC was trying to promote the Chew

so I doubt they would have wanted any type of AMC promotion on the air at the same time.

Since I don't really follow OLTL that closely who is he?
