Just got my new SOD, and according to SOD Chrishell Stause is leaving early. Apparantly she tweeted to Ryan Basford a Chelsea Lately booker. It was in response whether a cable network might rescue the show from cancellation and she tweeted "I'm leaving anyway-but I want the show to go on" but she's since deleted the tweet.

A rep is saying an early exit for CS doesn't seem out of the question as some major threats to Jake & Amanda's relationship are poised to explode on air soon

I wish she could take RPG with her.

Honestly I just do not feel very sad about this. She does not seem to care that much about AMC to me. Love her & Jake together though so will miss them together if she's really leaving. I guess him & Cara will reunite, & Tad will be back w/Dixie down the road.

At this point, what does leaving early really mean? Shouldn't production be wrapping in two months or so?

Because soap fans & press can not grasp the concept of recurring.

Whatevs. She's a pretty girl and seems personable, and no doubt a thrilling future of walk-on parts on the CW awaits. But she's a mediocre actress and already had one foot out the door anyway. Bring back a couple of vets instead, AMC.
