Is that Olivia Birkelund playing ghost Bess at the beginning? I think it looks and sounds like her, but I was just watching the climax of the Hayley/Alec/Arlene story earlier on Pluto so maybe I just have her on the brain.

    Good spot! Per @slick jones list she did play Bess. (it may help your list to know her appearance is from 1988, if this upload is any indication)

    I do wonder why they introduced Lainie and Dixie around the same time when both ended up being similar. Maybe at this time they still planned for Dixie to be more of a bad girl.

    Y'all - I was so intimately engrossed in this Tad/Ted/Dixie storyline. I'll never forget where I was and where I lived when this storyline happened in Canada. Sure, I wish Cady's hair was different, but you just had to accept it in the mid-90's. This location shoot was so amazing. The next one I remember after this was Mateo/Hayley/Julia/Noah/Taylor in Jamaica a couple years later. Great soap opera here.
