Can we talk a little bit about Mary Fickett (Ruth Parker Brent Martin)? She was the first actor to win an Emmy for a daytime soap role (1973). Her winning reel was an anti-war monologue (1972); Ruth

Oh my...Greg and Jenny. I'll never love anyone they way I loved them. They're easily one of my top five couples.

I never realized how much young MEK looks like James Franco.

I love Mrs Valentine and Phoebe here

Thanks for that clip! I really liked Cecily. It's too bad her second stint was pretty lackluster.

this is such a nice little montage set to Daisy's theme

Speaking of characters' theme songs...nothing beats Erica's modeling fantasy song.

I'd be totally okay with Erica's last scene (not the show's last scene) being some kind of self-accepting/self-validating/self-loving thing, then she struts off with the theme playing.

ETA: "400 minutes of contiguous Erica scenes" really makes me...excited. I'm watching all 40 parts as soon as I finish watching all of HB's full AMC and OLTL episodes.

Hamilton Bernique is the best soap youtuber of them all. I think he said he had worked for a TV station in the 80s maybe in Alaska or someplace, and he just copied straight from work. Unlike the others, he has complete episodes so you really can get full stories. His Erica fest is great as are all his clips.

And do his eyes constantly dart over to look at his card while talking? :D

Ooooh... you and my mother, boy... She'd bring that up every time Phoebe walked into a scene.

I agree and I like how he OCD tags  every clip with a character run-down. I would also have to give a very special shoutout to VickRobCal for his work with OLTL clips.
